I dont know why reviewers say that some cheap metal phones look premium because of metal back. I was hoping G5 would be having non metallic back. Atleast if they give us some non metallic back covers to swap on G5.

I think the Moto G5 Plus is a solid mid-ranger with an excellent camera. Price it right Lenovo & you have a winner!

OK cool a new Motorola phone with Nougat.
But what UK owners of Moto G4 want to know is when we will be getting Nougat.
My husband and I have SIM free handsets with no network branding and still no sign of any update!

Ahhh! I was so pumped about a removable battery for the g5+! I CANNOT believe they excluded removable battery for the g5+! I wouldn't have had to buy a new phone for years! (also probably why they did that)

Hoping that they have an option for the back cover to be rubber similar to G4 and V10. For grip purposes and no need for casing. Metal feels cheap, wannabee, and insecure.

This regional crap was the reason I didn't buy the G4plus. While it was great, I wanted at least the 3GB RAM version. It was very hard to find it in a store. And when I did, the price was 370 euro! I just payed 30 euros more for LG G5 (SD820, 4GB, wide camera, 1440p etc), since it had a discount and I never looked back. And now they want to continue the same mistake...
ps: Totally agree about Xiaomi and their policy not to use gorilla glass. A friend didn't listen to my warnings and bought one. In the first week of purchase, a girl was looking at his phone while she was wearing a ring. She slightly knock the phone with her finger an the ring opened a hole in the display... Ouch!
I think tempered glass is highly recommended for these phones.
