You people can cry about the bezels as much as you want.With the chroome version and the extra reflectiveness on the front bezels I find the XZ Premium extremely sexy.We know you dont like bezels,so keep going for your LG,Samsung brands.Oh and by the way,the G6 with it's 800$ cost looks ultra cheap in front of the XZ Premium. :)

I accept other opinions too, don't try to force mine down their throats like you and others Sony-believers seem to do. Just accept a different opinion, this time it was a negative one (for good reasons) - life goes on. Some other site probably writes a positive one, go there if reading negative feedback about a phone is so damn hard for you to deal with. :-D

look like sony finally improved their low light performance.. definitely not like pixel but on par with s7 edge ...
and the video quality just amazing!!

Sony does seems to improve the image quality. Sure noise is there but details seems great. Also white balance sensor seems to work better than XZ.
And Video! Can't really believe on my own eyes. Though agree on some points by the reviewer...

[deleted post]Should be more than obvious by now, that Sony's aren't worth all the hype you fans have been telling about. Even worse is that Sony was caught lying. Seems like a fair and competely honest "hands-on" in my opinion, the truth is nothing to be mad about. Just don't be a brand's fanboy and you're good to go.

Yes, this phone is masterpiece. Only sony can make such amazing camera sensors. Everybody wants that sensors. I bet new Iphone will have this sony sensor. I hope will not sell this to anyone. My Z2 has the same battery capacity and lasts two days. So Sd835 is less power consumption. We also have stereo speakers. On my Z2 the stereo sound is really fantastic. I saw the pictures here taken with iphone7 and xz premium. The difference is obviusly. On picture with xperia there are much more details, the colours are richer. Yes this is really beast.

Sony's still stuck with this age old design. Needs to come up with more contemporary designs and a better android skin. Seems design is the biggest drawback of Sony.

This phone will never be daydream VR certified because it has an LCD screen. OLED is a requirement for VR due to the fast pixel response. This is why Sony doesn't want to talk about VR.

every time i grab my S7 and listen to any youtube video I CANT HEAR THE GOD DAMN SOUND because the MONO speaker is on the side where your THUMBS are.
So idiotic. Nice looking designs does NOTHING if the phone is not useable (specially since most people will put their S7/S8 or Xperia in a .. case anyway)
My next phone is most likely the XZs. Looks like they finally fixed the camera.

The best phone in 2017. Sd835, 950fps, beautiful design, 4k, stereo speakers. Lg g6 no 4k, mono speaker, only sd820 with the same battery capacity and sd835 has less power consumption. Xz premium is the best. Cant wait to get one.

i used to defend sony about their bezels..but come on..i don't mind the side bezels, the top and bottom ones are hideous, especially when the buttons are on screen..
the only thing that stopped the note 7 from becoming best smartphone of the year was it going up in flames(yeah..calling it the only thing is kind of an understatement), and the s7edge got the title..it seems this year will go to samsung too(lg is good..but what can i say, i'm biased)...only thing left is nokia bringing in a monster..that will be a worthy successor to my n8

The camera samples are actually quite impressive. Sony are definitely on the right track... finally. They're not picture perfect - but they're damn sure a million times better than anything Sony released in the past. Low-light looks very good too. I wish Sony would use Zeiss optics on their premium phone offerings...

Those huge top and bottom bezels will be a deal breaker for millions.. Unfortunatelly for me as well.
