Low light must suffer from smaller pixel size and old tech, and this is not the only problem here. No more laser assist, no more RGB sensor, the whole system is a huge regression for LG. It's a waste of that wonderful and beautiful camera software they make.
G5 must have hit them really hard to cut this much.

So you say it takes pictures in 4:3 - 13mp, but when 16/18:9 does it lower its mp like the Samsung s7/edge? Or does it withstand the 13mp, instead of a 9mp...

Faizal.hhh, 08 Mar 2017Can anyone explain me the use of having 02 back cameras?
D... moreThey both take a snap at the same time and combine the images for perfection.
The p10, like the p9 will take a solid monochrome, other devices take a colour shot and drain the colour to get the b&W.

no water resistence
worse camera than cheaper g6 (p10 plus will be more expensive than g6)

gab, 08 Mar 2017sensors don't make the image. the lens, the aperture and mo... moreThis is completely untrue. If there's one most important component which you can use to determine picture quality, it IS the sensor. Can you have a large sensor and still mess up IQ in software? Sure (see Sony). However, you can only go so far with other things, but you won't make up for having a tiny sensor. Sensor sizes have been consistently increasing in smartphones, which is awesome. Too bad the G6 uses a small one. Even the G5 had a bigger sensor, even though it wasnt as big as some other flagship camera phones use.

People are now just grasping at straws to determine who is better - a good thing for consumers since now they have plenty of good choices.

The difference of the shots between the two phones is so..soo minimal! Sometimes I couldn't even spot the difference in the shots between the two cameras. Both cameras will just do fine with any average user out there, Now it boils down to which phone is an all rounder as in the one that has Good screen, good battery, good performance and features that are really important the the user.

I think it would make sense to compare p10 plus with G6 because the camera features are almost same. I guess p10 plus would have kicked A** of the G6!

Faizal.hhh, 08 Mar 2017Can anyone explain me the use of having 02 back cameras? D... moreEvery pictures that you took from the phone will be combined from both lens; RGB and Monochrome. The monochrome sensor works on the details of image and the RGB works on color. You can see many review on youtube (especially from those one who knows how to use Huawei professional mode.) then you will learn what is the truth. Honestly, it keeps good details even it is the smartphone.

Can anyone explain me the use of having 02 back cameras?
Do both cameras can take a single image? or both cameras take 2 different images?
i don't understand the use. Please explain.
Further,
What's the use of having a B/W camera in reality? (A color image can be converted to B/W, but B/W cannot be converted to color. Isn't it?)
What's the use of wide angle camera in reality? (other than the panoramic image)
