Huawei P10 review: The Mini-Mate

10 March 2017
The newly announced P10 builds on everything the P9 introduced last year - the design is even more striking, the already top-notch screen is even better, what used be a balanced performance is now flagship grade, and finally, the Dual Camera system, produced in collaboration with Leica, is now better and allows for lossless zoom like on the Mate9.

"the panel in the One M9 has been carried over from the predecessor. And that should be taken as compliment."

That is what the m9 review section says....

With every passing day, it is increasing becoming difficult to argue about the omission of FM Radio from smartphones, no matter how good streaming channels, they ARE NOT an alternative to FM Radio and perhaps won't be in the near future. Still I am willing to ignore that arrogance as manufacturers think USA is the only market for smartphones and perhaps there aren't any FM listeners in US anymore. But why oh WHY! Why the hell would they remove IR Blaster from their flagship model?
A big letdown for me, seriously.

Nice review. I might go for the P10 if the price is right. It is looking like it might be a bit pricey unfortunately.

I don't get it why you are staking that it is worthy uptade on the P9, when P9 is great device and it cost half of money that Huawei asking for P10!?
Yes it has weaker GPU, but still good enough for everyday usage (maybe not for gamers), but other than that... I would rather buy 2 ogmf those, than one p10.

                    If u have a P9, upgrade to P10 Plus.
                    If u have a P9 Plus, don't upgrade.
This P10 needs a better name, like Mate 9 "Lite".

this is insulting HTC right in the face because, when the M9 came out,in the review from this very website,M9's display was mentioned as a MAIN DISADVANTAGE because it had the same specs for 3 years in a row!!!what about P10 & P9 & P8?!!don't they have the very same thing going on?!and also sony for 4 or 5 years!!!!

In the earlier days of Huawei, the "P" stood for platinum, as it's their top their phone line. The "D" - now gone was diamond. The "Y" was young/youth. Not sure about "G" though.
