But the haters have taken it too much that they've made hate instead of helping them instead.
This applies to every single manufacturer in the world. The reason that they won't even improve is because of customers that will continuously hate over and over despite them doing their best thing to improve and fix every flaws their products have

Lessening the bezel size means lessening the chance of your screen surviving a drop since there is little to no barrier that will absorb the shockwave to prevent from reaching the main screen panel. Plastic is a far better resistance to that, hence why sides are polycarbonate

So I don't see gsmarena complains about that small battery because the phone get good battery life.Sony want to prove that those crappy mediatek is on the same level with snapdragon 625.

Small bezel is a shitty trend that started these useless aspect ratio - nothing's made in an 18:9 or an even worse 18.5:9 ratio content.
If you don't like bezels, simply buy a display panel and enjoy

People are complaining about those b... moreMost people that complain about bezels are people that definitely wouldn't buy it anyway , and bezels aren't that big either ,yes they are little bit bigger(like 1-2%) because SONY puts big camera sensors and stereo speakers there but they look really big because of SONYs unique design that features symmetric sharp corners and no physical home button on front to fill up the space on bottom bezel . check the screenshots below and you will see what I'm talking about .

GSM Arena is just being honest with the phone reviews, so that's why Sony's get a bit negative reviews. :) But they will say all the good things about every phones, if there are any, like this one has a pretty good battery life (surprised me) and the camera seems to be okay.
