For me fast wireless charging, the sexy design, dex support, amazing vr experience with best smarwatch and ability to use two accounts for same app in one phone are much more than enough to choose it over anything else out there. But one thing you said wrong is expecting competition from Apple, maybe you didn't buy an iPhone recently but after the note 7 fiasco I mistakenly bought iPhone 7 and regretting till now. It's still lying in box somewhere and I don't use it due to my horrible experience so I'll advise every samsung user to stay away as I also bought it for trying only and could only feel better after getting S8 ultimately. Apple will never compete, it'll keep fooling sheeps. Well if sane people buy Samsung, insane people buy iPhones idk who will buy these HTC U11 and Xperias which lacks in almost everything but I'll say these are still better than iPhone.

That is my point why would someone go for u11, when s8 is there.
(Bluetooth v5, headphone jack, better display, futuristic desgin andany more over the u11)
For me as a medical student even the design is enough to go for the s8,,,
Because we all want the most amazing device and by far the s8 is the one for us.
Hope apple would give good competition this time!!

Seems like you'll ar... moreHow could you say that the u11 isn't attractive if you haven't got your hands on it?!?!?, You will definitely prefer tge s7 because u have it in ur hands,, but I'm pretty sure that when u get ur hands on the u11 with its liquid design, u will throw your s7, just try the u11 (all the reviewers were blown by the design of the u11)

Second of all, why we should use a headphone jack while we can use a type c earphones for a better audio quality with the Usonic; and speaking of the AUX, we are in 2017 where the Bluetooth and wireless stuff are becoming popular and people don't like those cables, we want to see the technology. Why people just see the dark side of this phone( which is not dark btw), why not seeing the technology provided by the technology?!?!?

I just managed to watch the launch. This is outstanding. A break away from the pack in style and finesse. So much to like when you watch the full presentation. The squeeze is a natural movement too i agree and will come handy in winter as it works through gloves etc..... nice..
Look forward to hearing that amazing stereo sound (announced in the launch) in my headphones via the USB jack.
Looks stunning. well done HTC.

By comparison TouchWiz was horrible bloated mess. Within a year it started lagging. Since we got exnoys version here dev support was pretty poor. Still changed the ROM after its warranty was over couldn't be more satisfied. Ran buttery smooth. I had used it in rainfall and it still worked. If only it hadn't dropped I'd have had kept it with me as secondary phone just for removable battery

But I guess you have used mi flagship phones,yet.
I can assure you my friend you will be very satisfied if you used one.

People who say about lag might never used a Samsung flagship post S4 or just used a second hand entry level phone

But there was never a phone I wanted to replace more than my old galaxy. While my M9 (which has been my least favorite htc) is just as fast as ever, still a beautiful phone (OP3T has the exact body, minus the stereo speakers), and I haven't been able to crack the screen no matter how hard I've tried!
If i'm paying $600 for a phone it better last 2 years minimum. I don't understand how people can buy a new flagship every year. I guess if that's your plan, S8 will be great until Note8.

While e.g. Samsung or LG has a lot more income from a much broader range of consumer products. And thus more money to promote one particular device.

Why would anyone have to be upset of having a discreet (yet powerful) device at hand. I bought a black Honor 8 myself just to be unnoticed amongst the fools and wannabes, knowing that the blue version is the prettiest of their range. I just want to do my thing quietly without being disturbed by a bunch of idiots.
