AnonD-669792, 17 May 2017Totally agree with you in terms of the availability and war... moreI'd like to know Which part of it you didn't understand unavailability of mi6 or the fact that you can't defy physics and put a 1 inch sensor in such wafer thin phones. Most phone cameras especially flagship ones click pretty good pics in daylight like you said about difference between mi5 and s7 in your earlier post. that negligibe difference won't be increasing anytime soon. So only thing left is battery and manufacturers are stuck at around 3k for flagships these days

It's a shame when someone comment in such order.
No offence my friend I'm not pissed off, I was just trying clarify the truth.
For me Samsung s8 and g6 are the only attractive expensive flagships around.
Oneplus 3t and mi6 are the most worth high spec phones around.
People know the truth my friend,,, HTC is still not in the proper path.
Just go for the sales numbers.

Anonymous, 17 May 2017really bad at naming.. HTC ONE HTC ONE M8 HTC M9 HTC 1... moreHuh, with the way you put it, it appears nicely symmetrical. All they have to do is to name their next flagship HTC Two 12 and then use HTC Two for their follow up to that one; and their naming past 5 devices

Blunder, 17 May 2017I see your point.
But I also think that HTC, Samsung and... moreWhat you've said is correct, it's just a pity that many companies are just against putting bigger batteries in their phones (even when they decided to enlarge the phone's overall footprint to cram in more hardware). Surely I am disappointed with this kind of thing but I won't complain much since future SoCs are still getting better in terms of power efficiency.
What I don't like however is when people making nonsensical comments before doing a little bit of research.

But I also think that HTC, Samsung and other manufacturer, employ engineers that are smarter than , me, you, and probably all of the people who commented below. I think they know what they are doing and there is a logical reason behind the samaller battery on todays flagships.
I also hoped for a bigger battery, but then again, I am using my HTC 10 on a daily basis and its battery lasts just fine. I guess we will have to wait and see.
Regardless, this phone looks very promising , I will get one by the end of the year hopefully.

S8 and U11 have SD 835 , which is clearly known to improve battery life with up to 33%.
I am sure that in the endurance test , all 3 will score roughly the same.

AnonD-507364, 16 May 2017Even samseng S8 with 5.8" screen comes with only 3000mah.
... moreBoth the S8 and U 11 fail miserably in the battery size department. Let's make some size comparison here:
S8 : 5.8" (148.9 x 68.1 x 8 mm) 3000 mAh
S7 edge : 5.5" (150.9 x 72.6 x 7.7 mm) 3600 mAh
S8 is only slightly smaller than S7 edge yet the battery is MUCH smaller for no reason
U 11 : 5.5" (153.9 x 75.9 x 7.9 mm) 3000 mAh
10 : 5.2" (145.9 x 71.9 x 9 mm) 3000 mAh
U 11 gets bigger than the 10 (also bigger than the S8) and even after "losing" a headphone jack, the battery size still remains the same.
LG with the G6 on the other hand:
G6 : 5.7" (148.9 x 71.9 x 7.9 mm) 3300 mAh
G5 : 5.3" (149.4 x 73.9 x 7.7 mm) 2800 mAh
Your opinion basically makes no sense.
