What GSMArena and a lot of reviewers failed to mention, is that Xperia phones (X and above) support PS4 Remote play. This is a great plus for PS4 owners, where they can play their PS4 via the phone's screen. Question though: does Remote play support 4K display?

all sony's phone make many people confuse. because sony have crappy marketing department. thays why they always fail to sell xperia every year.
most people (even the reviewers like gsma and techradar) dont know the exact resolution of the screen. many reviewers also state that the frame is made of plastic, the other say it is made of metal.

Techradar states it uses the true 4K resolution at all times, not only while showing 4K content, GSMarena states it does not. Who is correct?

Not sure why stock levels should be scaring anyone in the first place mind??
Must be something to do with fanboy mentality, hmmm.........
Think about it, ironically the only people this is likely to bother would be those who were actually going to buy the XZP in the first place, i.e. Tanns fellow Sony fanboys for the most part.
I mean if you don't like Apple, then does an iPhone being out of stock really bother you???

Design is personal desire, I also can say I hate rounded screen corner it is for older people like a vintage television display. One drop can make the user worry the internal damage. If you like that then go for it, but I will choose the durable one and won't spend my hard earn money for a toys.

Maybe Sony should add that to their Xperia marketing pages, it could read as follows:

The camera hardware on the XZP may be awesome, it should be considering Sony prowess in this field.
But from what I can see, and my experience with previous Xperia devices, that camera will be horribly compromised by the awful software running it. The Xperia camera ui is hands down the worst I have used.
1. There's no burst shot cability (the predictive shot goes only so far to making up for this),
2. it's slow to responds to adjustments in exposure, there are now XZP's in my local phone shops to play with, so I can see this has not improved.
3. The auto HDR is unreliable.
4. The manual mode is a joke, no kelvin adjustment for white balance and ISO is buried in a separate menu.
5. In reality, it's not really a manual mode at all, more of a ISO priority / shutter priority mode. Try setting the shutter speed and then adjusting the ISO, you will see the shutter speed just default back to auto (the reverse is also true).
Sorry, but until Sony go right back to the drawing board with regards their camera ui software, that experience will always be hindered.
I have finally decided to give up on my XZ and sell it on, with the weather getting better where I live and having my two young children to photograph out and about, it's just been too frustrating trying to constantly fight the camera software in order to get good results.
