Hudinited, 24 May 2017Good job HTC 50% my next phone but first lets wait for V30 ... moreYou sound like my twin dude.

I'm waiting for the same thing. I had a G5 this year and when choosing between the G6 and S8 I decided to settle for the V20 instead because I know I'm going to end up getting a V30. If the V30 doesn't live up the hype this HTC will be my choice.

Good job HTC 50% my next phone but first lets wait for V30 to see (im an LG fan and Manual camera maniac) but if HTC beat LG in camera i go for it

If this is the camera on the HTC 10 I will definitely buy it anyday. Not a fan of glass back phone because of my sweaty hands. It will always be full of smudges. A case won't even help because it destroys the beauty of the phone.

I am a samsung fan but clearly HTC U11 wins hands down.
Super work, will switch to HTC this year.
            Peace.

Mmmmm i don't know If you people need glasses or some like that but for whatdj i see -again- the pictures taken by the Galaxy are pretty muchas the best of both, and as a client you don't need to struggle to find it

Bravo HTC..bravo....not disrespecting Sammy's effort....but one company is at its peak...and is in the most bottom.....but still the quality of outcome and determination behind it is extraordinary.....even rivals should praise this.... Both are the best of their worlds....with personal preferences of people....

These seemingly small differences can trigger different exposure/ focus/ shutter speed/ ISO settings.

And when we have such awesome yet similar camera's it best if the picture is taken exactly at the same point, at the same time and held by the same device/stand (so any hand-held shake is same for both).

Both phones are kinda the same, on terms of camera. If i had to choose, i would choose HTC which can improve through software updates any minor issues. I guess HTC, of the VS, had an early camera software version... Except glossy back, which is dirt magnet, i prefer also HTC for the flat screen (i personally "hate" curved screens).

The XZP has way more colour noise compared to the S8, especially in the green and the blue channels. Dear Lord, do you use a phone camera to capture special moments with your kids?? The perfect time for an SLR...in that case, NO phone camera will do.
