I don't even heard this phone everywhere or any other LG phones out there until I visit GSMarena myself. The truth is, most of folks (not all at least) think that LG mobile is still exist entirely at all and that's reality. No matter how good they are at making things doesn't mean the majority will needed it, most folks this days are just following hype or bandwagon like in a american idols.

Side by side compared with note8 this phone appeals more to me but I will wait till it gets cheaper maybe during the holiday season in december with some good deals.
Besides this phone is not only a beast as all V series of LG it's also more focused towards a certain group of people who like to have good audio and video. The note is the only one with a s oen or stylus with such dedicated software for it that it's not comparable with V30 and other phablets. Don't need s pen, so V30 suits better for me, and the majority of people.

The thing that annoys me most about LG is how they add or ommit features because of region dependence. Just build a phone with all features, other wise good phone.

The concept of stereo speakers in a phone is silly. No possibility for depth or stereo imaging because the two speakers are inches apart! By all means, complain about the quality of an internal speaker, but having two channels coming out discrete drivers inside a phone is just a waste.

IR blaster comes really handy, you don't have to carry several remotes to control your set top box, AC ,TV ,etc

LG are the best to use Wide angle. Look for somewhere else for Telephoto.
I thought Quad DAC is the best amplifier available. There's another one?
No 10 amp? We don't have that technology on mobile phones.

does not checks all the boxes.
overhyped phone and over prized phone.
