Reviewer forgot to mention it lacks basic Stabilizer, Taking videos would just be pathetic. Overall in this price range Moto G5S plus would be a clear winner in terms of Camera.

Hope it's coming to Malaysia, I would sell my every single rugged phone to rush this device . In terms of mid range , specs sounds pretty decent.

Mi A1 ( android one version of Mi 5X) has one (Bottom Opening) speaker. But in the review Loudspeaker test mentions "The stereo speakers on the Xiaomi Mi 5X scored an Excellent mark in our speaker loudness test, the same as the Mi Max 2 " . All the test results are given accordingly. But according to Xiaomi, Mi 5X has single speaker whereas Mi Max 2 has stereo speaker.

Please tell me how sd820 packed mi5 scores 104h battery endurance and sd625 packed mi5x scores 84hours. Isn't it inconsistent ?

it use omnivision camera by the way, so they can cut the price almost half from mi6 offering, and i think if we just looking for affordable phone with sd 625, the redmi note 4x still the best option

It's good on paper, but when you dig deaper, it appears that the GPS and GSM reception are quite poor, so it's a useless phone.

mine, redmi note4x pro, cost less then $200, it has 4000 mah battery made up to 8 hours sot, it already has android 7.0
i played 7knight and kings raid on it, its smooth, no trouble at all

Excellent phone for your money,arguably best buy right now-for about 280$.Two really serious competitors:Meizu M6 Note for about 50$ more,and Moto G5s Plus for about 100$ more..down to preferred Android,MIUI (5x) or Stock Nougat(A1)..

I do like how Xiaomi made the Mi 5X . It got some great looking paste color (Rose Gold , Gold) and great dark color (Black) , great specs for its price (4/64 , dual-cam , metal body construction body chassis , etc.) , the looks / aesthetic of the phone (antenna line , curved body but unique , placement for 12 holes of speakers and 3.5 mm jack , etc.) , much customizable UI (although it's heavy) , and much else . However , there's one thing it's quite off me from this phone . The phone looks much like iPhone 7 & 8 Plus if you look directly ...... Other than , it's overall a great phone . Can't wait too see the Android One version , Mi A1 tho .

With this cost , the low light are so great . it's make me keep stick with XiaoMi. not like Lenovo. it's will make me walk away with it.
Popular Design. it's really make us feel good when see this. i think follow S8 Design are much better , less width , friendly to our palm and even answer call are much more simple.

Happy to see 5x are that good . i wonder how good the Redmi Note 5 will be . Maybe much expensive than current Redmi Note 4 , but if Redmi Note 5 increase the Battery capacity to 5000mah , screen to 5.7" , Dual Camera , it's will be good for me .
i got no complaint about my Redmi Note 4 . only the screen not really scracth proof , the cheap temper glass still better than original screen it self.

SD625 is 10nm? i believe this is a typo? coz its 14nm process.

the sound recording quality is so poor ! 4K video and sound bitrate of 96Kbps ? really ?
i will not recommend this phone even to my worst enemy !

yeah IMX386 JUST FOR 1st batch i knew it, second batch will be downgraded to samsung or omnivision camera sensor !! just like they did to MI4, MI Note, MI4s and RN 4X
