I like it. I am a big fan and user of the note series. One day I will get this one. Specs are impressive.

89 hours endurance time for the Note8, versus 90 hours for the Note7 Exynos versions.
10:20H (Note8) web browsing versus 11:08 (Note7) which means Note8 has 48 minutes less;
14:34H (Note8) Video Playback versus 16:46H (Note7) which means Note8 has 2:12H less.
S8+ has 1:56H more Web Browsing time; 1:29H more Video Playback.
So, that 6% of smaller battery difference (-200mAh) for the Note8 with a slightly larger and brighter screen compared to its 3500mAh siblings are factors to the slightly lesser performance for such a fully packed features smartphone.
My personal experience with the Note7 for 45 days has given me only some 4 hours SOT, over a 9-hour stretch with bluetooth connected with a wireless earphones with some 30% left. Which means the battery will only last some 12 hours with the Note7, and even less with the Note8. Looks like I'll be really be plugging in every afternoon before going home.
Way to go with people who keep saying sealed batteries with thin profiles are the future and it's a progressive direction. I say go thick and give us 5000 mAh with an expected heft so our usage is really all day, not to be carrying powerpacks/chargers/charging pads/extra phones so we can top up in the middle of the day.
Sigh, my Note8 arrives within 2 weeks, and I'll be ready to carry the extra bulk of a 30,000 mAh powerbank AGAIN.

Main shortcomings: QuickCharge 2.0 instead of 3.0 or 4.0 for a 999 euro smartphone
Look at the battery performance of the V30 and the Note8: no difference at all!
