funny enough the low light pictures that are "flexing muscles" .. when you look at them side by side with the xperias "terrible pics" for example.. well... they have much less details.
WTF? I expected the note to be significantly better, not worse..

Anonymous, 18 Sep 2017Yep, this and the extremely mediocre (At best) battery and ... moreSays an anonymous dude who hasn't contributed anything of value to his society in all the years of his insignificant existence. Another jealous pot calling the successful kettle black. Hard to think of something more mediocre than you.

I don't think the camera captures as much detail as the HTC U11.
In other news, Samsung is delaying the preorders from the previous loyal Note 7 owners who preordered the Note 8 through Samsung.com with bonus trade-in discounts so they can provide enough phones for the carriers/retailers to steal customers before the new Iphone is released.

As long as you wouldn't use extension memory via SD card slot it won't.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2017Its supposed to lose up to 20% within a year not a month.
... moreBattery technology has remained the same for the past 20 years. Samsung has claimed that the battery now will be still optimal even after a year. Like how? I just do not believe on what their marketing is saying, and no way telling us how they have implemented some magical technology that has solved the retarding the battery degradation.
My conclusions have been from actual use and monitor, and literature pertaining how rechargeable batteries work and last. I stand by my observations at 12.5% drop in Screen On Time usage after over a month. Probably 20% by the second month. Even accelerated when you are fast charging all the time.

The location of finger print sensor is just fine easy to reach with left point finger as this device is for two hand, mobile phone on the left hand and Spen on the right.
My only complain is that the small battery and for deleting iR Blaster... Samsung is following IOS now, they dont listen to what their clients said...

Hahaha, it is funny and first to hear that!
No phone dares to compete with V series in terms of sound quality.

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2017There are a few flaws ..
Mono Audio
18,5:9 screen
Dua... moreWell...I guess those are true. Again, may not be all that flawed. From YouTube videos, the monospeaker seemed very capable, quickcharge is replace by Adaptive fast charge which is very capable, and while I don't like their aspect ratio, I am not sure if it counts as a flaw. I actually didn't focus on the Selfie camera, as I have no use for it (in an effort to go against the crowd).
But...yeah...4K video thing and FPS is annoying.
It doesn't matter in the end though...I still like Sony design more and still crave physical keyboard. Otherwise, I could have bought this (or better yet, Note FE, which is a stunning looking phone).

NichtsGemacht, 17 Sep 2017Why does phones with cameras with OIS support produce bette... moreOIS is good when you need slower shutter speed. It is hard to keep hands steady. Even if it is just 1s. Useless in daylight or video.
Brighter shots mean bigger aperture and higher exposition.

Mono Audio
18,5:9 screen
Dual edge screen
Speaker beside usb (like iphone)
Bad position of FPS
No QC 4.0 or 3.0
Low resolution selfie, also overexposed shots
4K video probably only 10 min like S8
P2 beside usb ( like old iphones)

Well...except the fact that I like the omnibalance design from Sony (i.e. the brick) over the phones with rounded corners for some reason (people think I'm weird anyway).
