Oki, here I go, I shall tell you everything....
During the old funny days, we used to have big phones with antennas, then we have the smaller versions like the 3310 and stuff. Afterwhich, during those times, you can boast your 3310 to the world. I used to have those and was so proud of it! I was like bragging everyone! I played Snake 2 and Space Impact! It was fun! I could never ask for more. Then here goes the colored phones, everyone was so crazy with it. If you were already contented with the 3310....Then why are you going crazy to colored phones? So here, I start, after the colored phones, here goes phones with VGA cameras. Then we have the 1.3Mp Cameras, then Smart Phones, then 3G and so on. People were contented during the 3310 days, then why are you all asking for WLAN, those sh*t and stuff? And for those saying "the design is hard to use, the keypad is to small" Why? Have you tried it? Have you used it?
So here, buy the phone you want and stop blabbering about features, don't care what others say, its your own perception, live with it and mind your own business!

as you can see in the back... there's a xenon flash and 3 led... the Light application control the 3 led... there's no way to use xenon as flashlight...
does anyone know if this has a passive lcd screen for displaying the time when the backlight is off, like on the k800/810?
yes it haves

K850i, a wonderful phone as expected but the asking price is a bit too much at the start compare to the K800. Just like the review has stated, it missed the first 5mpx cam phone crown and it has half a dozen of phones with similar specs aim at the same market segment on its trail. Especially the N82 with powerful S60 capablities and possiblility of Wifi. The n95 will also cut its price to counter SE.
I believe the good price point for the K850i will be around 350USD mark, as it posiiton itself as the mainstream camera phone. THe price has become its biggest draw back this time around. Bring on the iphone inspired full screen cybershot phone, with 5mpx!

This is the best cam phone ever. SE is the best, after all the tested k850 is only a prerelease version and it stands almost upto the N95, so just imagine how good the release version will be. The only and I mean only advantage the N95 has over K850 is WLAN.

I think LG Viewty (KU990)is more powerful in terms of the picture quliaty and the video performance. D navi key looks very uncomfortable !!! and the 3 soft keys are very hard to find and press. what's wrong with Sony Ericsson?? I'm little bi disabppointed with K850i especially 2.2" display. It's outdated.

to N7aD, yeah anything could happen anytime anywhere, anyplace but i don't carry laptop around as they are very heavy, so i need a phone with wlan to go online, how? Use k850's gprs and pay money? 0.o!
K850 : 118
N95 with faster cpu and wlan, bigger screen and internal memory weights only 2g more? Lol? Nokia's technology more advance? Lol.
Oh ya, i'm using my n95 to post comments here. At anytime, anywhere at any wifi connection:)

Its not a digital camera ,but its a phone integrated with a digital camera .A 5 megapixel ,cybershot - BEST PIC technology .
U don't carries a camera with u usually, everywhere you go ,unless your job is photographer or u r on holiday somewhere with a camera stuck with you... But sometimes , unexpected things & situations can happen to anybody ,anytime ,anywhere in this world where u got just a few seconds to shoot a pic of it .Example ,u can be in the presence of a celebrity ,and u've got just a few seconds to take only one shot of him /her and be sure not to miss (blurred pic, eyes shut..etc), or , Rooney/Gerrard is about to shoot a penalty kick(perhaps the match winner goal in an important final,or dramatic situations such as a plane is about to crash in a building ...and with a phone like the k850 ,already integrated with a 5MP,AUTOFOCUS,CYBERSHOT-BESTPIC TECHNOLOGY with QUICK RESPONSE, take pictures of sensational or dramatic situations that can happened to anybody , anytime , anywhere in this world , and become an amateur/professional paparazzi or photojournalist ,and if your pic is the unique (eyewitness)shot of something important ,be sure it will be published worldwide.

The best camera is the one you carry with you. That's why I like camera phones, and K850 is the best in that category. I have tried the N95 too and it is way to slow to take quick snapshots. Also, the N95 does not have flash which I think is ridicilous.

my spouse own an N95 and I must say that I'm truly amazed. I always hated Nokia's camera end result, the pictures don't look like a normal picture at all and the colors are way off. but with N95, it is way beyond a common digital camera. if you open a picture (in Adobe Photoshop) produced by a regular 5MP digital camera, it only has 72px/inch. N95 has 300px/inch. plus the video capability, it truly produces a DVD quality videos. TRY TO BEAT THAT.
now, I currently using a K750i and very looking forward to getting the K850i. the only thing I wished that K850i takes from N95 is the WLAN. but well, anyway, I'm really anticipating the phone :)
