Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL hands-on

04 October 2017
Google acquired the HTC team that built the new Pixel 2 – let’s see what the search giant bought for a billion dollars. Strangely enough, the smaller of the two devices hasn’t changed much, but the larger Pixel 2 XL is much more in step with modern flagships.

ithehappy, 06 Oct 2017Stop embarrassing yourself man.I agree, note 8 is the best smartphone experience in the world, then S8 with its heavenly experience only short of an S pen. I think lg or Sony will come next followed by iPhone X.

The only advantage to Wired headsets I see is that you don't have to charge them.

An anti-creative, Emerging Market company like Google trying to be premium. They should start by re-evaluating their logo, leadership, and design aesthetics. They've been mimicking Apple in unusual textbook fashion. They want to be the Apple of Android, except there's one problem they're known as the cheap company with free adware services and disregard for user privacy.

          PS. This phone is ugly.

Its handy its grippy it has the most needed essentials it is adequate size it features oled display pixel 2 is a real good phone. But the price is not just bad but very bad. Its worth max 500$/450€/30,000INR. Its very well overpriced.

No headphone jack?? I thought Android was supposed to be the alternative platform providing all the functionality that Apple restricted for its users. Now it's just about copying every good and bad trend - in android flavour. I was honestly interested in this phone coming from a Samsung, but noway I'm giving up the headphone jack. Let me tell you why - after nearly 2 decades of Bluetooth we're still nowhere near the reliability, ease of use and sound quality which can be provided by a hardwired connection. And no - dongles are not a way forward, just a lazy way for manufacturers to push the problem onto others.. Boycott this shit

And need to work on their software for their camera. How can other brands use their camera hardware and still take better pics than Sony phones. Other than that Sony is great.

940€ for the ugliest phone of 2017 ? Shame on you. If you really want that 'premium' status, start by designing good looking products. That's what Apple did.
