At least they're not like AMOLEDs from Samsung that are still very inaccurate, like the ones on the Galaxy A series.
Massive bezels has just made this phone even more of a multimedia phone. Good luck carrying your fragile S8 with one hand on its sides though lol. Tablets are also multimedia devices, and guess what - they all have large bezels too. LMAO.
And Sony putting stereo speakers on smartphones for $380? Steal my money Sony! Lol.
It would be a real shame that a Sony mid range phone has stereo speakers, while a Samsung or other high end phone from other brands doesn't. And as if there's actually some multimedia smartphones with stereo speakers except Xperias lol.
Also, bezel less was their very own thing.

Sony made this one audio loudness so strong, battery endurance so strong, side bezel is slimmer, selfie and back camera looks great for day light.

Playstation and Sony Pictures do not have any content 18:9. Actually nobody does because there is no tv 18:9, and will never be.
These 2:1 screen are waste of time. If S8 had the screen of N7 with smaller bezels only it would be better.

This battery size could have been implemented on the XZ Premium and the XZ1 but Sony is just too stubborn. I dont get why can't they just offer a flagship phone with a 4000 mah battery. What wrong with that much battery capacity? So disappointed by the battery since z3+, but since reading the XZ1 Compact battery endurance in GSMarena's review, it just shows how great battery performance are in Sony phones with the right implementation. Another disappointing example is the XZ1 itself. Why on Earth does it have the same battery capaxity as the XZ1 Compact if it is noticeable a much bigger device? What are they even thinking? Sony fan here but just saying my disappointments.

SONY xa1 plus xa1 xa1ultra xaultra etc etc ..all in last 10 months -- very low sales ..nofront runners ..sadly ..

I'm still not sure what to think about Sony's (outdated) design but kinda respect them for keeping it as something recognizable,which is rare these days..
In terms of what do you get for your $,I believe this phone aims at Sony's fans (mostly),it is a capable phone but you can get the same performance or better for 100 to even 150$ less..Redmi Note4(x20),Mi A1,Lenovo P2,Meizu M6 Note ,even Moto G5s Plus..apart from Moto,they're all (way) cheaper..
