Nokia 2 hands-on review

10 November 2017
It's been less than a year since Nokia made its big comeback with Android and the company has already launched six phones since then. The latest one to be announced is the Nokia 2, which made its global debut at an event in India yesterday.

The fact the screen is brighter than the scenery therefore if the camera exposure is metered for the screen the hand and the scenery will be dark.. Checkout the comparison side by side Nokia 2 and Xiaomi video on Youtube and you will see why xiaomi is cheap with their cheap display.. Good phone, this Nokia 2. Maybe they could have used a 4xx series Snapdragon. Battery endurance must be great. I hope GSMA will give it a full review.

It could be competing with the Moto E4 Plus, although that is a step above in all aspects including price.

BTW, the photographer of those camera samples must be very good. He has gotten the best photos out of a limited camera.

This phone checks all the boxes for a modern phone and I expect it to be a smashing success.

Not really sure what Nokia is hoping for with this one. The Moto E4 Plus ups pretty much every spec point over the 2, and only for a marginally higher price point.

The E4 Plus gives you an even bigger battery, better processor, double the internal storage, triple the ram and better cameras, all for less than half as much again. Also It's available in those emerging markets that the 2 is aimed at

So again this 2 seems like it's completely outclassed on arrival.

            poor memory and rim

AnonD-392500, 11 Nov 2017Because it is cheap matte plastic. The keyword here is CHEAP.I'm not convinced Nokia/HMD would have gone with "cheap plastic", given their heritage, focus on quality materials and builds AND the small price difference. Nor am I convinced ANY matte plastic is a fingerprint and smudge-magnet.

Nokia should try to take market share by giving good specifications at affordable price. They can raise the price later with different models. It's a model Chinese follows. Nokia will not gain any market share with this low specs device.

Lightning McQueen, 11 Nov 2017I think most of the photos are shot at East Coast Park. Hmm... moreI think if they make a review they will already done around a week back, then the following days after that they edit it and type out their impressions and combine all the aspects to make it into a review. This is the first time I seen them taking photos that are from Singapore, since there is nothing nice to take here if u already take all of the beautiful sceneries here, I would prefer going overseas to take more beautiful photos than here man!

Anonymous, 11 Nov 2017Photos look like in Singapore. It is in Singapore, the typical green railings that I always see, but what I don't like here is the fact that there is almost nothing new to take for the scenery

In India Nokia has better brand value and image than Chinese makers so I guess people on budget will definetly look for this device.
