Haha this phone is already dead in the water.
Was hoping some new competition for OnePlus would be good for flagships, however clearly people over at razor didn't think things through.
I understand being a gaming phone the display must be good, it's not at all.
Performance must be good to game, it is.good.
Battery life must be good to actually game.for a decent time, it's disastrously bad
Connectivity must be good, has no headphone jack and not even Bluetooth 5.0.
if they were selling these at £300 maybe they would get away with such things shortcomings. Even then most would probably be better off with a £300 xiaomi flagship instead

ZiGiTy-Zo0giTy, 13 Nov 2017Yes the switch doesn't have the best battery but it also ru... moreI mean pixel c does have great battery life that because pixel c has bigger battery capacity compared to other tablets, nvidia tegra x1 is known for runs very demanding graphics but at the cost of more power consumption and more heat. That's why we haven't see X1 on phones except at tablet and nvidia shield TV and other embedded device, even the shield tablet uses tegra K1. Actually I really hope Razer phones comes with at least K1 with bigger battery, just look other phone manufacturer can still crammed 5000mah on their phones, right? And like you said, let's hope Razer will give some updates to make their phones more optimized and efficient.

A phone this heavy, with corners so sharp, will hurt the palm using it one handed in bed for example. Prefer phones with curved corners.

To what i could find the pixel C had great battery life. If Razer did a better job on optimization and put the x1 I could imagine them squeezing at least average battery life on the phone. Or drop 2gb of ram, drop a one camera and bump battery up in place of those omissions.

I really wanted this phone for those front facing speakers and brick-like design! I know not everyone likes the design but I do. I’m pretty upset the 120hz screen is crippling it though. It’s not worth it anymore, is it?

First 3.7/5 rated flagship here. Nothing to see here. Just get your S8/V30/Nokia 8 or anything but a phone for gamers. Gamers are audiophiles too so they immediately opt for Wired Headsets (more likely, Audio Technica, Sennheiser, Steelseries? and Plantronics).

They should have used the same chip as the switch, would have powered through anything at 120hz, although razer would have to kick it up a notch on optimizations for battery life.

Hmmmm no Oneplus 5? Strange seeing as I can run the windwaker on Dolphin at it's native 30fps which is what the gamecube actually ran at with this game, MarioKart at a solid 60fps and the battery life is actually superb with both games allowing for hours of play?
Terrible alternatives on offer, maybe because the 5T is about to drop but again that should offer the same speeds and compatibility.
120hz is a new thing for phones but they've gone to far too soon.

Is it just me, or did GSM Arena miss an opportunity to include testing Android games at both industry standard refresh rates and select 120 hz rates? Why aren't a few examples of games that can run at the latter at least mentioned in this review?
