Sony Xperia XA2 review

Sony may be looking beyond smartphones but the Xperia line is still standing its ground. The recently unveiled Xperia XA2 series is not only a statement of persistence, but also shows intent for expansion. And the Xperia XA2 bodes well for Sony's new generation of smartphones this season.

They are still in business because despite all the mistakes in mobiles they make they have just enough good tech and brand power to keep striving. Even though its really only themselves holding themselves back.
      They are lucky that despite having what is probably the most wide spread and on going phone failure issues that its not discussed or as widely known.

      Probably because every sony page is filled with their followers acting as if zero issues exist or ever will. As if sony can do no wrong and as if perfection could actually exist.

            XA2 beating the S8? With the same old IMX300 as the Z5!!!!!! The Z5 was on par with the S6, not even close to beating it on the S8. OOPS!

            The S8/Note8 just got out of Oreo beta. The roll out is soon.

                Watching a video on u11 is way better than s8.
                S8 makes white a bit red.
                U11 has LCD

                    External amplifier test result could be a result of faulty model. Sony never aced at audio output in phones,but this kind of result is really out of track for any OEM.

                      [deleted post]I don't know about that issue. Here in my country there is no such issues noted, probably those with problems are imitations from China.

                        Wonder why sony is even in the mobile business? stick with making camera sensors for smartphones and the next is HTC probably they should stick with making VR headsets for smartphones.

                                      Sony keep making the same design phone for years now because they can't afford to hire designers with the losses their phone division makes. Maybe they should get a loan from their Playstation dept.
