Sony Xperia XZ2 and XZ2 Compact hands-on review

26 February 2018
Unlike many of its big-brand competitors, Sony didn't shy away from major announcements at MWC 2018. In fact, it took the wrappers of a shiny new pair of flagships, that boldly marry new design concepts with incremental hardware updates.

It's a complete disaster of design. I don't like this "soap phone". I am a huge fanboy of Sony and a loyal customer of Xperias. But, for now, I'm out.

They literally put the camera and fingerprint scanner in the worst position possible. Mostly I don't get Sony phones because their phones are overpriced, have outdated designs. and are completely impractical. When they finally try to make a bezeless phone, they come up with THAT.

The back curve design don’t look as nice as the previous model and one more disturbing thing that Sony is always keeping is the function arear on the screen, it’s so big eating away the screen size almost 20% while operating the phone leaving the usable screen size much smaller than what it’s meant to be....
