Somewhat overpriced for the specs to be considered as a bang for the buck device.

Well my mates, you forget to mention Nokia 7 Plus as an alternative, especially for those who don't want notch. Not everyone are into notches, yet all alternatives you mention are notched phones.

Anonymous, 15 Apr 2018There are some speed test of Oppo F7 with Helio P60 on yout... moreThe problem is NOT that its slow.
It's that it is priced in the flagship territory, where the competitors have more efficient and faster processors like the QSD 835 and QSD 845.
It's the pricing that's not right.
And the fact that it has no Ingress Protection means its definitely NOT a flagship, and that's without me even talking about the mediocre camera performance.
Overall: good phone, bad price. Make it US$100 or e150 Euros cheaper.
....otherwise get a cheaper or better device like people commented already

I want to applause this review!!
It's a great thing that you test real games and see no difference!
Some manage to creat their soc to fit benchmarks!

One against HTC U Ultra and his S821...
P60 destroys him in Speed test!
One against Oneplus 5T and his S835, even if P60 loose each time, it is very, very close on every apps.
Real custom Kryo on 820 was behind standard Arm.
It's not a mystery if Kryo 260 on S660 and 280 on S835 are basically Cortex A73, nearly exactly the same performances.

Kangal, 15 Apr 2018Yeah, the microUSB is a let-down... but at least it has One... moreWait, what? SD660 performance is acceptable? Stupid benchmarks tests aside, real life performance is where it counts, and there the SD660 delivers. Besides the GPU, which ih weaker, it matches 820, and is a better choice because it has 2x more of both performance and efficiency cores.
Another point which I would agree with you is the price, it'a a flagship territory, and even the flagships are way overpriced.

Nzi97, 15 Apr 2018Micro usb?Yeah , and there's 3.5 mm jack for Headphones and Packs Android Oreo & Oppo Handsfree out-of-box.
I Think this price (500~550 EURO) is Good for a Mid-Range Flagship with Great SONY Cameras and Colorful Versions , made this to a Moon , I recommend this to any Person who want a Mid-Range Photography and Great design phone.
Thanks

Yeah, the microUSB is a let-down... but at least it has OnePlus'es VOOC which is much faster and cooler than Qualcomm's Fast Charging protocol.
Also, while the QSD 660 performance is acceptable... its barely as fast as the QSD 820, and noticeably slower than the QSD 835 and QSD 845.
And the lack of ingress protection is a real downer. That's right, no IP68 not even IP67 or IP65. Do not drop this in a puddle, toilet, or basin. This review is wrong with the quote "So, the real question is if the extra $50 are worthy of that water-sealed body you get with the Pro".
However, what's the worst part about this is the price.
It's going for around US$599, or e599 Euros... so its definitely in the low-flagship price bracket.
