LG G7 ThinQ review

03 July 2018
LG is finally releasing a G-series phone with the latest Snapdragon - yay! Regardless whether we have some supply chain optimization or LG's product planning to thank, the fact of the matter is the G7 ThinQ is now available internationally and it's a proper high-end device.

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2018Where did you see XZ2p can do 4s? Impossible without more... moreI think I read somewhere that it can do it at a longer period of time, and I did believe it since it was a reliable source.
I forgot it already, but I guess it's not true after all, my mistake. Sorry for that hehe

Seems to be a good device, except for the battery life. With LG's track-record for updates and boot-looping devices, I wouldn't buy this is if I was looking for a new phone now.

No one should buy phones with such lousy batteries.

Geric.770, 04 Jul 2018The wide angle camera also doesn't have OIS until now even ... moreThe wide angle lens doesn't need OIS because you can do low shutter speeds without camera shake at such a short focal length.

I was tempted to buy this phone, for all honesty. ^^; however the endurance is a little dealbreaker

Anonymous, 03 Jul 2018LGs always have bad battery life, so do sony and HTC. No... moreSony with bad battery life? Are you making yourself sure with that statement? Because last year regular XZ1 flagship powered with only 2700 mAh battery capacity scored an 82h Endurance Rating, and current flagship regular XZ2 with 3180 mAh battery capacity scored an 88h Endurance Rating. Do I need to mention XA2 Ultra, XA2, and XA1 Plus that scored both 100h, 92h and 102h Endurance Rating respectively? Or even XZ1 Compact with 108h Endurance Rating?

                        Proof :
                        XZ1 : https://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_xz1-review-1656p3.php

                        XA1 Plus : https://www.gsmarena.com/sony_xperia_xa1_plus-8840.php

I understand if you pointed out the 2015 and 2016 Xperia lineup, as they did have a bad battery life of Endurance Rating, exception for M4 Aqua, Z5 Compact and Z4 Tablet. But since XZ1 lineup and XA1 Plus introduced last IFA 2017, the battery life had gone up compared to predecessor of it.

LG Superfan, 04 Jul 2018LG is seriously lacking in camera department what is LG doi... moreThe wide angle camera also doesn't have OIS until now even for 2 year old key feature.
It is also underwhelming on low-light shots. But for someone bought this already, it will be fine because it competes well with current top flagships of 2018.

Flagship phone with a headphone jack. That puts it on the short list automatically.

LG has credibility ... Now im disappointed of Huawei P20 Pro cuz its not looking impressive to me, even with its triple camera but no wide angle.

G7 is the worst flagship you can buy, any current high end phone like-P20 Pro, S9, even OnePlus 6, are much better choices.

                                      P20 Pro over any phone.
