How they compare Xiaomi mi A2 to nokia 7 plus? Here in my country, i guess all Europe is about the same, Xiaomi mi A2 is 249/279 euros. Nokia 7 plus is 399/450 euros.
That 60% more, at least. with the money that costs nokia 7 plus you can have a much better Xiaomi, Asus or One plus, even older flagship model from last year is a better deal than nokia 7 plus. Nokia 8 is 310 euros here and is a much better phone than nokia 7 plus.
Please be objective and compare apples to apples. they have the same chipset, yes, but 60% more money is in another league of prices...next time compare it to One plus 6 or Samsung 9, if you don't bother to compare in the same price range.

Anonymous, 03 Aug 201864G is not quite enough.Well it's a base standard for low budget devices now. Flagships definitely do need to upgrade to 128GB at minimum instead, unless there's an option for SD Card slot, be it hybrid or dedicated.
On a side note, this is a vanilla Android phone, so it should have more storage available due to less cr*pwares from OEM's skin.

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2018Even 2016 and early 2017 are way better than this
. And ch... moreyes it's true there are better value in hardware in some old 2016/2017 flagships.
the only problem is software not hardware. mi a2 is going to have updates for a long time and with smooth navigation since it's vanilla android. the 2016/2018 almost all not even have android 8.0 or android 8.1, never will and android p even worst. if you don't care about software, yes it's true there are better phones out there for the same amount of money. if you care about updates, there a fewer options than you think.

Disappointing, Xiaomi had a win er with the Mi A1, all they had to do was improve the specs, mainly processor, camera and screen size, instead the produced a dud. No thanks.

The difference is that it supports qc 4.0 only in India while it supports qc 3.0 everywhere else in the world. But in no part of the world it comes with a quick charger in the box

Anonymous, 03 Aug 2018I am done with phones that has a screen that cant be seen o... moreThey test the phone outside under summer sun. I have phone (p9 plus) with great visibility under sunlight. Maybe that sound nice. What you didn't expect is the phone become so hot and unusable because the LCD crank the brightness to the max. It is so hot even I can feel the heat when I put it in my pocket. Thats why I will set the brightness to half under the sunlight. Maybe it's hard to see the screen. But hey, at least it don't burn my hand. Sunlight visibility is not always a pros

It cannot store app anyway unless you root your phone. I take a lot of picture and video with my phone. I have a lot of games and app too. In the end of the day, I still have 19gb free out of 64gb. So why people just focus on there. I mean, it still nice to have SD card reader if you need one. But I surely don't miss it. I have change my phone to mi A2, and I think it's still a great value for what it's offer

For 200 bucks you can get the Meizu Pro 6 Plus with amoled screen, super camera, same battery life as this, and a built in audio DAC that sounds amazing .

So when I look at price way way better devices come into play.. just bought a HTC U Ultra for my girlfriend.. 227 Euros thats about 263 bucks !!! Great audio, amazing display, front placed fingerprint sensor/home button, simply beautiful design, better than expected batterylife, and even cheaper than the Mi A2 in the EU (with 4 gb/64gb)..

Because there's a lot of people still need that, it saves your budget a lot, also you could saves your files there (most people are still got a bad connectivity on their home so cloud wouldn't help), while nowadays OSes and Apps are so big.

is sd card really a big bummer? it's slower than phone storage and unreliable anyway. 2 of my SanDisk sd card died suddenly and lose all of my data inside. never used sd card after that. 64gb is enough for casual use or some gaming anyway
