Samsung Galaxy Note9 review

20 August 2018
How time has passed - we're at nine now. Seven years after the original, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 stands before us. The numbers don't add up, no, because Samsung chose to skip the 6, and it didn't really quite work out splendidly with the Note7. But that's all in the past and we're looking ahead.

28:31 ; 11:01 and 17:52 is the endurance rating of Samsung Note 4. So Note 9 sucks in battery backup time because of just 4 Ampere battery instead of 5 Ampere battery which is there in A9 pro 2016

No doubt that Note 9 Will be the best highest end of 2018 and maybe 19 regardless of being hybrid and lack of infrared !! Nevertheless nothing of high quality specifications will be foreign !! In Note 10 and 20 we will see more amazings from Samsung magic box...Also price of 25000 money in X place will be reduced in 2025 for the middle class!!!Nevertheless congratulate to Samsung for innovation, invention, creation for all walks of life and gsmArena for fact-writing....

Cptnegativepower, 01 Sep 2018Man pocophone is equal in speeds and it can last 2-3 years ... moreYes and no. This has many advantages over it. Speed alone is not enough.
..and at buy one get one it's a pretty sweet deal.
..and it will sell for plenty more than 150 to 200 euro in one or two years.
But yes not everyone needs it

Man pocophone is equal in speeds and it can last 2-3 years very easy. Anyway most peple change their phone every 2-3 years so Pocophone is good enough for that no need to buy 1000 euro Samsung and then after 1 or 2 years sells it for 150-200 to get another 1000 eur phone

I thinh Zamzung are again manipulating the benchmark results. My Exynos note was getting 2500/8500 geekbench results initially - tben it started getting much bigher results. Looks like if it recognizes the benchmark it is boosting the performance. The real world results are actually same as the snapdragon edition - which is onfirmwd by the app launch times in youtube reviews. I am quite dissapointed to be honest :(.

"Get the big profits fast before the bubble bursts". The problem is, are they bursting that bubble themselves?

If you can make a profit o... more100% with your point and yes, from the developer side, all is fair and of pricing policy is their own choice, as i understood, huge profit per product. But then again,we are consumers and see this approach differently, because we in the end,pay the price. Although history repeats itself year by year,we pay everytime more. Not long ago, a flagship was priced at around 700-800 $/€ or echiv. and now we pay around 1000. So,again,in the end,we consumers, pay and we don't care about developers' approach because we see our pockets emptier year by year.

icatalin32, 24 Aug 2018Awesome phone no doubt about it but I think Apple, Samsung,... moreNot sure you understand pricing. If you can make a profit of 200 on a device you only need to sell a quarter as many as someone who only makes 50 per phone. Also, you have to invest less in stock build up, less in production lines. Then if you can make that profit 400, you are onto a winner. With a high profit you can afford for a device to fall and be recalled. You can afford to spend hugely on R&D and still pay yourself huge bonuses.
The game is PROFIT, not just sales volume.
Turnover is vanity, profit is sanity, but cash is reality.
It is easy to be a busy fool.

Is this seriously GSMArena's first review where there are NO disadvantages?

Edit: It's in the verdict part, normally a couple years ago it was in the introduction part. Why you do this GSMArena? It's hard to get used to!

Awesome phone no doubt about it but I think Apple, Samsung, Sony, LG, even Huawei should revise their pricing policy since their products' prices are way too high comparing with the inovations and hardware level of the selling point timelines. There are other brands which have understood the market better and the came up with price/quality alternatives, worthy of our attention: Xiaomi, OnePlus, etc. Why Mi8 is not shown on the alternatives list for Note9?just asking gsmarena? Yes, it misses IP68, microsd slot and 3.5 mm jack but hey, I own such a product and I honestly don't miss anything. I have 128gb which is more than enough, the small jack-type c adapter is awesome (no more extra holes on the device) and there is no loss in quality or volume and I've never felt the need for water protection. And don't think I'm affiliated to Xiaomi somehow because I'm not, I just love this phone and the overall marketing policy of this brand. I've also checked P20 Pro, Note8, OnePlus8 but I preffer to stick with Mi8.
