Pocophone F1 by Xiaomi review

22 August 2018
Xiaomi's announcements have been relatively predictable so far, but the introduction of a new Poco sub-brand was a surprising move. It sounds like a marketing experiment - deliver flagship specs at cutthroat prices. Sound familiar? Well, it does remind of how OnePlus came to be, but we're not sure the new Pocophone F1 is headed in the same direction. Poco is still just a brand, and not a separate company and they stand on the shoulders of Xiaomi's logistics and after sales support network.

        Widevine L1?

This is the best deal by far. First I thought the camera will be compromised but no...the reviews say camera is excellent. Still, people will find faults with it even if they are getting a phone which priced at half of the market price of similar product. Oneplus move over , Poco has arrived.

Please don't imagine or make wrong assumption. If you don't want to buy just think before that it brings lot of things in one set with nominal compromise. It'll forward us in next mobile generation tagging SD8xx a regular chip. It invite foldable mobile in early 2k19.

suman0, 23 Aug 2018Not wrong?! Some OEM selling you sd450 at that price. Those guys are a complete joke and should be ridiculed till they actually offer something respectable at competitive prices but that doesn't absolve Xiaomi of their shortcomings in Poco F1 phone

is there RAW support for the Camera? Can you shoot in the DNG Format either with the native Camera or a third Party manual Camera from the Play Store?

Im not sure where did you get the "small phone" thing, maybe poco means something in another language, but in spanish means "less", or yeah "little" but in quantity and in a bad way. Just saying :)

yo, 24 Aug 2018In Poland its 'why'In spanish poco means "Few" or "A little bit".
If you speak native spanish the name "poco phone" makes you think it's a small low end sub $50 phone. At least that's what I first thought when I read the name, then I saw SD 845 and I was very confused.
