It probably wont turn them around because one price.
And two because they will probably do like always. Barely released or advertise it properly. Which is something that always holds them back.
If they want to turn around and come back they need to stop holding back main features, lower that insane price, and properly release and advertise it.
Most people are not going to go to their site and just buy it. Especially at these prices.

This phone is gorgeous. Sony got most of the things right with this one and that design is so unique and a breath of fresh air. I hope this phone turns Sony mobile division's fortune around.

..and 6 should be the minimum for such class of devices.
But since Sony has 4 ..and Samsung offers more you literally have the audacity to claim 4 is a good thing and more is too much lolololololololol
Yes Samsung has a more advanced ui with more functionality and features. But they also know if they released a 800-1000+ dollar phone with 4gb of ram people simply would overlook it for a better value more often than not.
Even them making the small galaxy have only 4gb of ram is messed up.
But not as much as Sony. Even the regular one being cheaper it comes with more as far as hardware, software, and accessories for the price. And is cheaper.

Here in EU,pocosh!t will cost 400€ at least,while XZ3 790€.I guess you know what quallity you get with anything you’d buy “two for the price of one”

XZ3 is a clone of samsung's S8.
...

My Xperia Z3's glass cracked again (...2nd time). I like Sony but this is sheer design negligence and i don't intend to keep forking out for a new digitizer/glass replacement = repair costs.

Malone, 01 Sep 2018Take 2015 OLED screen and compare to Z5 LCD screen and tell... morePixel 2 XL's display was heavily criticized because the "natural" mode on that phone wasn't actually color accurate at all. Colors were quite off and they look a lot duller than other displays which were properly calibrated to sRGB spectrum, in fact its smaller sibling Pixel 2 had no issue with its color reproduction.
"it can act like LCD screen with no frequency shifting when turned to the left or right and minimal PWM flickering when not on optimal brightness adjustment"
I'll believe it when Notebookcheck says so. Especially PWM flickering is unavoidable on OLED display and the one on XZ3 will be no exception.
