Sony Xperia XZ3 review

Few phones can claim they caused quite as big of a stir as the Xperia XZ3. After Sony dropped its first curved OLED Xperia, seemingly out of the blue at IFA 2018, reactions have ranged from overwhelming excitement, through confusion and all the way to denial and anger. That's a level of drama typically reserved for soap operas or celebrity gossip and it all spells out one thing - a massive wave of exposure for Sony.

      Here it comes the almost perfect android smartphone.
      Because the only issue will be the price. It should be priced at $800 for the top variant. The other aspects is justified especially for camera now much better.

        XZ3 Premium with 4K HDR OLED is surely mind-blowing
        Only needs to have the 3.5mm jack back (very unlikely, but here's to hope for it) and brighter screen panel
        Even the speakers are now louder too!

            Wait for Sony to use this triple camera setup for the best possible results from such hardware configuration.
            XZ2 Premium's RGB+Monochrome setup already beats Huawei's.

                  im impressed with the camera module. its only 19mp but it can kill other high mp out there. the image captured is natural and i love it.

                    I haven't been a fan of xperias since the z2/z2 compact days but i have to give credit where credit is due. The xz3 is a great phone with proper hardware and excellent battery life, albeit with a loss of identity. The camera is very good overall as well as the display. It's not likely to make huge waves in the market where price dictates adoption most of the time, but at least this generation isn't vomit-inducing the way the xz2 line was.

                    I still abhor sony fans though. Immature gits.

                      One thing I always didn't understand why Xperia display always come with blue tint issues =...=

                      Even now it's OLED with the blue tint !!!

                              Why do you gsmarena have a problem with the lack of a headphone jack (though adapter is in the box) but have no issue with P20 pro, iPhone series (now with no adapter in the box) and pixel series amongst others who chose to omit the same jack? Seems like they are grasping for negative points. Even the lack of quick charger in box is something others do as well but I haven't seen it mentioned in their reviews for other phones :/

                                      Sony decided to tune down noise reduction since xz2 now it is closer to a RAW file.

                                        In my opinion the XZ2 low light samples are better. The amount of details is nearly identical, but the XZ3 has more luminance noise / sharpening artifacts and more colour noise. As if they nearly haven't applied noise reduction at all.
