OnePlus 6 long-term review

The OnePlus 6: still a top notch deal? If so, is that despite or maybe even thanks to its top notch? On the surface, it definitely seems like this is a worthy contender in the flagship realm even today, with its glass back, minimal bezels, and top of the line internals for 2018.

Anyone else is SERIOUSLY disapointed with the microphone (in during video recordings) ?
It's so much distorted and saturated, microphone is inferior to my old A5 2016.

Was in a concert, my frined had an old iphone 6......the difference in sound quality during video recording was astronomical.

That makes the OP6 a very bad videophone imho.

      What I dislike the most in Samsungs your forgot: shit apps I don't ask for which eat up the RAM. S9 has just 4G RAM, where-as Oneplus has clean android and 6 or 8GB RAM.
      Typically a clean android and a lot of RAM are the most important (for me); as these will improve the speed and performance.

            Had it for 1 month.
            Smooth, fast but not a major difference with my Pixel 2.
            OxygenOs is great (better than stock) : gesture inspired by iPhone X are great.

            But the smartphone is too heavy to hold, the camera is not great, and no water resistance.

                OnePlus 6's long-term view only lasts six months or until 6T is released. If you want headphone jack, then it could be even longer as the OP6 could be the last OnePlus flagship to offer it.

                      Has anyone felt the voice of the calls are very high, even if we put it to the lowest, It still is very high

                        I have Oneplus 6 for 3 months already. I'm very satisfied with this phone. It's indeed really good performance-wise and camera is not half bad, even though not equal to other flagships.
                        But still it's way better than the older models with the updates coming to improve it even more.

                        Charging speed is awesome. You have 20 minutes to go out and you see battery at 5 %. In 20 minutes you may even get to 40 +%

                        What I would like to see from oneplus 7 is bigger battery (4000) and also to take advantage of the second camera. Otherwise, oneplus 6 is my favorite phone.

                                TOO EXPENSIVE, not the bargain that it once was. Considering all of the software bugs you get when you purchase one, it's not worth the hassle. AND if you live outside of India or China, GOOD LUCK getting it sent in and back for repair if needed, or warranty replacement. When it was a 350 dollar phone, it was a good bargain, but it isn't anymore.

                                      s9+ better screen
                                      s9+ better camera
                                      s9+ no notch
                                      s9+ ip68
                                      s9+ stereo sound
                                      s9+ better sound overall
                                      1+6 faster charge
                                      1+6 cleanner android (bugs can counter this point)
                                      = battery life
                                      = same processor

                                      looks like we have a easy winner....
