While I love the waterdrop notch styles, I do not like the excessively curvy 4 corners of the displays on newer phones. Why they cant make 90 deg corners / rectangular screens ?

Video is heavily blurred. 1080p is a pure soap. Looks like upscaled 480p. 4K looks like upscaled 1080p. EIS works very bad, makes shaking worse.
Night pictures are well metered, but heavily blurred.

At this price range, it's a excellent smartphone. The SNAPDRAGON 660 is a rarity for this price, other aspects such as the storage, the RAM, the camera are also a rarity. I'm especially impressed by the camera, it ain't the type of camera where low-light photos are very soft, with a lot of noise. Of course, video needs some improvement. But these few years, I've never liked one aspect of OPPO smartphones; its software, it's too iOS-like, and its heavily customized too. This is one part OPPO needs to refine in their smartphones

hopefully this would be released in the Philippines before December. I really need a new phone and this is really affordable with some decent specs, it'll last me probably 3-4 years before I switch to a new device. (fingers crossed for Philippine release and hopefully the price wouldn't drastically change the 4gb version should still be around 10.5kPHP)

Oppo, Xiaomi, Vivo n now Realme come with heavily modded android. To offer low cost they compromise on many aspects. They have n't come up with unibody metal design or offer back glass. They don't offer feel good factor when you hold their device in hand.
They should come up with stock android but they won't... reason u all know.

They said its the best performer of the Realme series which is a lie, the Realme 2 pro might be much better than the Realme 2 but it's definitely not better than the Realme 1 in benchmarks.

Not really. This low-cost phone did not even have light-emitting diode notification, selfie flash, USB type C, quick charging, stock automaton etc.
