I really like my V40. Good size. Good screen. Software is fine. But the battery is too small. I'm always charging the device. And for the love of God, I cannot take a decent enough photo in auto mode (photo's look flat), at least in my book. Whenever I take a photo with my wife's iPhone Xr, it's usually a hit!

Hg, 05 Nov 2018Dude get in with the times. Being Privacy conscious is impo... moreMy bad, I think I got picked up by his comment stating he:
- "heard" (means it's not confirmed yet, just a gossip) that
- Australia (he picked one particular country)
- could spy with a special hacking software (come on, almost every country could do that without injecting some silly software)
He bashed one manufacturer, one particular OS, one particular country in one broken and almost grammatically incorrect sentence. My bad, I think I got picked up by a troll.
Put this silliness aside, you are definitely right about privacy. Everybody now want to know everything about everybody. It's not just one particular country nor company, but almost every active internet users in the whole world.

The founders and pioneers of the internet never expected it to be a data collection tool as of today. And it certainly doesnt mean that the internet will be the same 10 years from now. Things change .

LG mobile will disappear very soon because of low capacity of battery. This is very simple to increase the capacity to 4300 mAh. Why LG is so stupid?
I will never buy phones with small battery

"The pixel size of the main rear camera sensor has been improved by about 40 percent compared to the LG V30, increasing from 1μm to 1.4μm, while the image sensor is more than 18 percent larger than in the LG V30."
Not sure what that would be in inches though.

Okay another iteration of LG V phones but still only 3300 mAh battery ?
I know theres QC 3.0 but still convenient to have a 4000 mAh battery so you don't have to worry about charging in the first place.

I get people don't like the notch, I myself don't like it (though it wont keep me from buying a phone) but why Is it even a factor for anyone WHEN YOU CAN HIDE THE DAMN THING? it actually looks awesome being able to push those notification icons to the corner of the phone and having the top of the screen below the notch free for your apps and whatever else. you are getting extra screen at the cost of nothing !!

A phone with 5/5.2 inch oled display and 18:9 ratio would be a perfect for many of us. So the phone doesn't have to be huge and still function properly. And if a larger battery needs another 1/2 mm of thickness, then be it. I think most of us won't mind sacrificing some extra beauty in favor of great performance/reliability/longevity boost.

Why is everyone calling a 50 mm equivalent lens as "telephoto"? Wasn't always a 50 mm (and equivalents) lens known as "normal" or "standard" lens?

The wide angle is just 107° degree field of view? Implementing the telephoto lens is pretty great, but reduced the view of wide angle is just another flaw. Sorry LG, you're not gonna be my cup of tea.
