LG V40 ThinQ hands-on review

03 October 2018
Someone was inevitably going to do it, and it makes all the sense in the world for it to be LG - the V40 ThinQ is the first phone with both an ultra wide-angle and a telephoto cam on its back. Of course, there's a 'regular' one in between them, for a total of three actual distinct self-sufficient modules unlike… previous triple-cam setups.

Martin, 04 Oct 2018LG use IMX senzor for standard camera? LG always uses sensors from Sony.

Telephoto of iPhones (since 7+) are ISOCELL. But is a secret. Don't spread out.

Whackcar, 03 Oct 2018The V30 was an excellent phone ruined by a insufficient bat... moreV30 scored 90h here.

The V30 was an excellent phone ruined by a insufficient battery. The V40 fill suffer the same fate apparently...

I hope the endurance rating surprises us... Be it due to the newer chipset or software optimization.

That aside though, it seems like a great phone. All the cameras seem great. Glad to see LG finally upgraded their main camera.

Kudos LG, but please consider putting bigger batteries on your future phones!

Just got the V35. Works Great. smooth, snappy.
But definitely upgrading to the V40 with the .4" bigger screen.
That will make the difference since I have large hands and holding the V35 feels like holding the iPhone X or S9. Yuck.

Also Ricky is so fkin HOT!
            And Will an Angie.
I bet one of these days, they'll start their own competing tech page.
Watch out GSMA management. Your most photogenic trio might leave.
