Dornez, 10 Oct 2018The difference is, the chin and notch combo on the V40 are ... morenah. everyone jump on the bandwagon hating the notch just because it's the hip thing to do. do anyone hate the massive top and bottom bezel of Razer 2 on 2018? i've yet to heard any. apparently they hate notch more compared to the notch that extends to the side a.k.a. bezel.

Looks like pretty good camera, neither dull nor oversharpen. Come on, a way to beat those duo from iPhones and Huaweis.

Why compare the camera with Samsung Galaxy S9 plus? The GSMArena team suppose to compare it with the best camera phone, such as Iphone XS Max or Huawei P20 Pro camera. I don't think this 2 Google Pixel can beat the Huawei P20 Pro camera.

And you don't have a 4K movie collection or a 60GB offline encyclopedia, FLAC music, and don't record 4K videos because they eat up a lot of space? Then good for you! You might as well buy a feature phone.

Note 9 with 512gb storage and 8gb RAM, ultimate flagship experience, best design, S-pen that too is Bluetooth enabled, dual Camara and a whole set of accessories. And Google came with this joke toy to compete with it? Crazy

Still no sdcard expansion, stillno go with the pixel.
Take a hint google, samsung phones still going strong with designs and giving people options.

I really do not understand all the fuss about the notch. Whats the difference if its a notch or a bezel I could care less. What I do care about is dual front facing speakers that are loud and clear. Listen these phones are for adults who need a phone that will do what they need it to do, comes with Googles great user interface, and has the best camera ever put on a cell phone. I carry my own personal phone (pixel 1) and a Iphone for work and I only use the Iphone for facetime nothing else. These phones perform flawlessly, are reliable, are of high quality, and a camera thats on par with DSLR's. NUFF SAID.

Honestly none of the phones this years makes me even consider giving out 1k Euro's for it .... Maybe the S9 but it's still a Samsung ... Sticking with my P9, suddenly investing in a new battery a few months ago doesn't seem such a bad ideea ....

This one is just huge, and for those who care about aesthetics, which is pretty much everybody, they will not like the design. Also, with the notch blacked out, that top bezel looks gigantic

i dont mind about the notch since it is basically the same thing as LG V40 chin and forehead but the notifications icon and the dates shifted up. Bonus is you got dual front facing camera and dual front facing stereo speakers. Also you cam hide the notch, thr setting is in the developer menu. what i'm concern tho is the pricing.

Maybe the wiser move is to pick up a cheap Pixel 2. But it won't have some Pixel 3 exclusives and I much prefer the "0.5 bigger screen of the Pixel 3. It just looks more modern without that huge forehead and chin like the 2 has.
The wisest move of all is to wait for the Pixel 4. The Pixel 3 is really the Pixel 2s.

4 gb ram is a big no for flagships today...6+ram is the way to go even if you have stock android 4 gb ram is not enough especially for heavy multitasking

All didn't have a great display. Even though Google still used a subsidiary of Foxconn, the Pixel 3/3 XL can be the first to claim that it is made by Google. No HTC, Samsung, ASUS, LG, Motorola, or Huawei. This is all Google. The first true Google phones.
