From camera specs it looks like we've entered a "camera count" race. Having small main sensor (24MP) and 10MP "2x" telphoto one sounds like the feature was designed by marketing department. (Cropping main sensor would probably give very similar result. Having different sensors would also make sense.)

BUT, does Samsung c... moreThat sucks that your phone had issues. I was the first out of 6 people to get the S8 and I can tell you that we're all running at 100%. No software or hardware issues.
Samsung makes great phone's dude, definitely one of the best brands.

Like the Note 4 emmc problems.

Why review a pre-production unit and call it a review?
Is being first of higher priority than being accurate? If you don't want us to judge, why are you judging? no offense but it doesn't make sense to me.
Also that wide angle? they could easily fix that distortion using a lens correction profile or something, unacceptable imo.

BUT, does Samsung care about quality? no, sadly no. only about performance.
see Note 7 eppisode, see S8/S8+/note8 LOTS of big HW problems... ...
sorry but thanks, NO, thanks. I am the unhappy user of a Samung S8 which get broken after not even one year of usage. all sensors stop working, no GPS... exactly when going into a vacation... sent it to service, wait 2 weeks... reinstall everything......

Bad news: The camera images won't get much better. The 24 MP sensor has too small pixels to give noiseless photos.
For those who think about ISP, the Galaxy A7 stretches the Exynos 7885 beyond limits and uses it's CPU to do the processing (observe the battery drain quicker as you play with the camera). Though this should not be the case with A9 (Spectra ISP is powerful enough), it remains to be seen if this SoC can save the images with 0.9 um pixel size.
For those uninformed, Rear and front camera --> A6+ is the best A series phone till now (in 2018).
