OnePlus 6T review

You were the Chosen One! You were supposed to uphold the staples of smartphone design and be different, not join the madness. You were supposed to bring balance to the force, not leave it in darkness. Joking aside, we might as well get a couple of things out of the way straight off the bat - Yes, the OnePlus 6T has a notch and no, it no longer has a 3.5mm audio jack.

I think SD835 is enough form many users for 3 years since now
if you don`t want to show off with that benchmarks.
I hate that marketing race that didn't gave real upgrade/innovation to end user, only ugly notches and whistles with full of bug devices with useless big processors.
I am happy with money in my pocket.
See you over three years to see what you gave me.

    Far too big, no 3.5mm jack and about as necessary as a carpet fitters ladder. Smartphones peaked a few years ago and apart from camera and Google's increasingly irritating meddling with Android, there is nothing different here.

      Anonymous, 30 Oct 2018128 is not enough for you? DamnnnnIt is barely enough, especially if you have music in lossless formats (FLAC, APE, WAV).
      And dont't forget 128 GB is whole memory, meaning minus approx. 20 GB for System.

        The "proprietary charging peripherals" is labeled as a con? Are you mad? It is made that way so the phone wont heat up during charging! Every phone should copy this!!!! O3O

The marketing department most probably is out of ideas i guess. Blatant copy makes you and average player in the market and when you already are a underdog, its hard to beat the business. This is my prediction so i think there are lot out there defies my prediction.

                    - HDR10 compliant
                    - Always-on display
                    - microSD card Slot
                    - Headphone JACK
                    - Ultrawide camera - extremely usefull
                    - Stereo FM radio with RDS

                    And that is 2017 Flagship
                    If we compare it to 2018 flagships : Mate 20 Pro, Note 9, Lg V40, Iphone Xs etc etc IT KINDA LOOKS LIKE MIDRANGER
                    WHY THEY KEEP CALLING IT FLAGSHIP KILLER ?

                      Softer glass means easier scratches.

                        Excellent review. Disappointing device.

                          Only complains:
                          Camera
                          Notch is ugly, if they are making a notch then they can add Face ID or other sensors aswell. And notch would look less funny that way too.

                          Other than that it's well built phone, with good specs for the price.

                            And you guys that use phones to watch movies, I'm sorry for you, but I understand if it's porn.

                            My main application of having a smartphone is to read, and the Web is built around 4:3, having toller display only brings weight and size to phone, not better usability. ai hate you marketing guys.

                                    C'mon! No wireless charging, even with glass back. No headphone jack. WTF! Weird notch. Most people will hide it anyway. Instead of the weird notch, they should've put in stereo speakers. In display fingerprint scanner is a gimmick. No official IP rating, even when teardowns show it is definitely possible. OnePlus went OneStep forward and OneStep back for this one. Save your money and buy a real flagship for a bit more (S9, S8 is cheaper).

                                      You want a screen protector: there you go, it's there when you unbox the phone
                                      You don't want a screen protector: just peel it off and enjoy super satisfying feeling
