Bought a Redmi 6a mobile was good until it broke down after 5 months only had warranty for 3 months didn’t have any after sales service if it was out of warranty wouldn’t buy another xiaomi product as the warranty wasn’t good

Comparing Redmi 5 and Redmi 6, the introduction is wrong. The display isn't larger than the previous generation (was 5.7", now 5.45"). That's not necessarily bad, because the body is slightly smaller, though not as much as you could expect, because of the larger bezels. Also the screen ratio is the same 2:1, unlike what the review says.
And "newer 12nm chipsets" doesn't say much without examining the actual performance and battery time. According to the benchmarks in the review, the Redmi 5 is generally faster than Redmi 6. Battery time is an unknown, though the 10% smaller battery does suggest it won't be better.
I'm missing comparisons to the "previous" generation (6 months earlier). How do the screens compare? The cameras? One possible advantage to the Redmi 5 is a better supported chip: Snapdragon.
