Bill, 15 Nov 20185.9 display 720p.. Why moto? Why? Because Moto now chooses specs by throwing darts at a wall. What else could explain it?

Hahawhatever, 15 Nov 2018At that price ..... I actually got 4 phones from eBay excel... moreWow, how I wish those phones were already that cheap here in my country.
The cheapest for an iPhone 6s Plus is around $400, and that's on a 'Good' condition only, with 32GB storage.
Such devices like Xperia XZ and LG G5 are still around $350 used and with some significant damages alreadyml.

When I use compare photos, the images from Moto One is terrible - just terrible. Even the Moto Z Play is far better..... why?

How is the Nokia 7.1 not mentioned in the competition part of the review? I imagine most people looking into this device are looking into Android One and the Nokia 7.1 has a €50 cashback until 22 November, which makes it the same price or even cheaper than this 300 phone.
The Nokia also has an amazing display, better chipset, better camera and a way better build quality.

I got a Sony Xperia xz for 120 aud and lg g5 for 90 aud and lg g6 for 150 aud and iPhone se for 105 translate to 298 euro ....... now I have 4 phones to play with depending on my mood and each one of them are far more powerful than this moto crap.......

Pros
-Trendy new design looks very nice from a distance
-Decent, if not spectacular LCD display
-Great battery life, thanks in part to an efficient chipset and also bloat-free software
-15W quick charge support and a compatible charger included in the box
-Very loud single speaker that benefits a lot from the included Dolby Audio equalizer
-Near-stock Android Oreo ROM
-Camera has seen a slight quality improvement over the Moto G6 generation, has plenty of interesting modes out of the box
-Portraits work decently well, thanks to the secondary depth sensing camera
-Video can be recorded at up to 4K and with quite decent EIS
-DEDICATED microsd slot as STANDARD
-DualSIM
-FMRadio
-3.5mm jack as STANDARD
-USB Type-C port, albeit USB 2.0
-Splash resistant
Cons
-The body is entirely plastic, including the frame and the finishes feel cheap. Despite the claimed Gorilla Glass finish on the front, our unit picked up scratches easily
-Some nifty Motorola added features and gestures were missing from the OS on our review unit
-The slightly dated Snapdragon 625 chipset might be efficient, but it is also quite under-powered
-FUGLY NOTCH, no OPTION in near-stock Android Oreo ROM to hide the notch. Motorola, give us a CHOICE PLEASE?!
-SLIGHTLY OVERPRICED$$ for the slightly dated specs.
There, editor, fixed it for you.
