better buy this for youtuber n vacation documentation purpose than entry level mirrorless / dslr camera.

Still the best phone you can buy in my opinion because it's a all round package. Some phone can do some things better but they always lack other things.

        Best display
        Great speakers
        Great design
Good battery life. Even regular S10 is pretty good in my experience.
Great allround versatile camera. Video and photography.
        3.5mm Jack
        SD card slot
        ip 68
        Wireless charging
        Best under screen fingerprint scanner
        Great ram management
        Etc...

No phone has this complete package.

Just received my new S10 last week. I had been moved to S10 after using S6 edge for last four years. The only issue i had is the icons on my S6 edge look distinctive (like whatsapp) so they were easy to find but now all the icons with distinctive shape have some kind of frames to all to look similar (like iOS have).
I checked in the display settings and i did not find anyway to remove the frames. Samsung theme store is also useless as they only changes icons for generic Samsung apps (none of the theme store can have that much database for each icon, to give standard shapes).
Is there anyway to remove those frames without using launcher, as i am pretty used to Samsung Touch-Wiz kind of OS?

Keep in mind Apple's sales are disastrous , maybe Samsung wants same sales ? Anyway I doubt that it will sell a lot , only hardcore fans with lot's a money and eager to get their hands on the 855 SD, but besides that, when you read here and on other forums, even hardcore android fans are saying they'll wait till price drops at least by 30 to 40% before buying the S10. Think that says enough.

I have played with Samsung S10 and S10+ recently. And indeed quite an impressive screen.
However new UI is a tragedy. Looks like a tool for children. Big colorful icons. Question is if it is possible to change the theme?

I used to have use samsung note 3 and 4 and i switched into s8. Now I order S10.
I liked some features as ultrasonic finger prints and back 3 cameras placed nicely on back.
However, I don't like features are reverse battery charge and bixby.
Generally, I like android phone and i like samsung galaxy S's design.
I might be moved into Galaxy Fold in the future if it developed more.

I very actually been following the S series for a long time, this is probably the costliest. The camera is just unimpressive, why three? the battery capacity is also not satisfying.but at least the UI promise to be great

So it's basically the same as every year but now it looks worse, with a fingerprintscanner that is less reliable and again a mediocre battery life? I don't see why people keep saying that Samsung is the best everytime they release something new, they're not even improving ANYTHING at this point. Oh wait it's also extremely overpriced. Great.

Jun1250, 09 Mar 2019Looking at all these reviews and opinions, I gotta say ther... moreNot to mention any other selfie camera phone would need a bar notch

The reason why they put that crazy, almost useless reverse wireless charging? I dunno, maybe it's the fact that these are entreprenuers that should be thinking of or putting in crazy things in their products to stand out in the first place? Xiaomi and Huawei couldn't possibly make the first move in their flagships, still currently aiming to be the best-seller and overtake Samsung before they can get to their own crazy drawing boards

And what I think to be the most important and greatest strength of the S10 is just how many features it has in that small package. 157 g for these features that no other phone in history has in just one single (highlight single) phone? No wonder those guys had to put in such a puny battery. How I see it, I'm itching to put this in my tiny, Asian pants pocket and see if I can iron some measly ~8 pairs of school and work pants and ~20 school and work uniforms... oh, and do that with some good ol' wired earphones to my playlist of weird teenager Doujin songs (MOST OF THEM IN OGG LMAO)

All in all, nah, no way I'm getting this now, poverty and all. But, although they don't have my money, they have my uttermost respect because of this feature-dense, hardwork-dense S10 of theirs that just doesn't look or work like its predecessors at all. Maybe that price is justifiable in a year or two, and it should be to those who can afford it right now

Other than that, the Mi 9, the soon-to-come P30 series, even the iPhone XS bois all have my respect when it comes to the blood and sweat put into them. There's no such thing as useless in the tech world. So carry on your flame wars fans and haters, that is all but inevitable. But consumerism and marketing are entirely different subjects, it ain't no joke, survival of the fittest as they say

"What? I was bored and wanted to type an opinion"
-Me, 16 yo who likes manga, why is Ricardo Milos so awesome and I accidentally submitted my last comment and am continuing it here

Looking at all these reviews and opinions, I gotta say there are quite some disapponting features in the S10 such as what everyone else says, poor battery, slow fingerprint reader, camera quality, punch-hole, expensive, this thing, that thing... A bunch of things that make it look bad, or on paper at least. Doesn't sound like it lives up to its name, does it?

But... just look at the stuff this 'flagship' has that other 'flagships' have don't

Ultrasonic fingerprint reader - unbearably slower than optical or capacitive, but is more secure because of that. Expensive phones like these should pretty well have the best sensor to ward off any snoopers

The punch hole? Probably the most ingenious way to maintain that IP68 rating that pop-ups don't. Only slighty bigger (relatively to the screen) than those single camera waterdrop notches. Not to mention any other double selfie camera

For me is a splendid smartphone better than any other, doesn't matter what you say or think. That you said is to change the subject to be evasive, and as you hasn't any argument against you say foolish things.
