Numerous reviews have mentioned the fingerprint sensor is unreliable. Bright Night samples look awful vs Night Mode and Night Sight. And looking at the studio sample comparison tool, the S8 is better than the S9 which is better then S10 at detail. Look at the American dollar bill in the low light studio.

        Oh God. SO sick of biometrics and fingerprints and other unlocking stuff.
        How did they actually make you people believe that you need that stuff.

            Thanks, GSMArena. Now we have confirmation that both S10+ and S10 have worse camera quality than S7, S8, and S9 lines :( This stinks.
            Additionally, Galaxy S9 manages to have higher scores in each, yet a lower "endurance" rating, lol.

              First samaung added dual edge curved display which made their mobile unique and worst mobile to use...now they went even further and added a hole and also dual hole for s10+ again which made their mobile unique and worst worst mobile to use....

              Also we can see no reviewer is talking about this non sense curved screen nor notch nor hole...

              this time its a tiny improvement in camera , battery and more heating processor.. and also samsung was first leading brand to copy others....first they started with sony and then followed nokia and now we can clearly see they adapted trend of apple to release three flagship with non sense pricing....

              now a days there is no critical reviews...most almost 95% are paid ...so beware...

                  samsung should have kept the fingerprint scanner on back, i have zero issues on my s8+ i can unlock phone total darkness or whatever since u are already holding the phone its so easy and good, scanners on front is really not the best solution sadly they ditched back :/

                  and the hole at front looks silly.. better should have kept the bar for all sensors like s8/s9 had.

The P30 Pro is going to kill the S10 from the looks of it.

                      Interesting that fingerprint scanning on S10 offers such poor experience. When I went with iPhone XR and it had no fingerprint scanner at all, I thought it's gonna be weird because I really liked ultra fast scanner on Xiaomi Mi5. But in the end FaceID turned out to be a really neat feature and I actually like it more than fingerprint scanner. It has some limitations like not having face in the camera view when checking notifications with phone on the table which won't unlock it, but that's really the only downside. I'm guessing screen fingerprint scanner is an issue because you don't have any physical boundaries where finger goes and you have to look for visual cues.

                                -better speakers
                                -better payment methods
                                - IP68
                                -in display fingerprint sensor
                                -better chipset
                                - better internal storage
                                - more RAM
                                -additional camera on the back
                                -better cameras overall
                                - additional camera on the front
                                - barometer, heart rate, SpO2
                                - bixby button
                                - fast wireless charging
                                -reverse wireless charging
                                And it packs all that in 1mm THINNER and LIGHTER BODY

                                Do you live in a village without electricity and you need to go every other day in town to charge your phone? or are you just too lazy to plug in your phone for an hour and a half. Probably the real reason is that you can't afford it.

                                  I had an A5 (2016), which had very bad FP recognition (sometimes I was just tapping it over and over again, until I had to type in my PIN), so I don't want a crappy FP-sensor again... maybe next year they figure out how to make it work more reliable under the screen

It's because I don't care - it is more than good enough for me while offering 4 hours better battery life than the newest comparable Samsung flagship. I care about battery life more than I do about squinting at my screen to look for better looking pixels. This is what Samsung doesn't get about the end user experience.
