There are two options. You keep screen connetors at bottom and use same design of Xperia 1 or turn the screen upside down to keep connectors at top. This increses bezel size a bit.
Screen connectors are reason no phone will ever been 100%. Reason so,e phones remove top bezel but still have 2 or 3 mm at bottom side.

Sony needs a new CEO and a new design team. They're stuck in the past. Also, plastic is NO NO, to every other manufacturer too. Plastic sucks!

How difficult is it for the designers at Sony to center align the screens, earlier they had humongous bezels, now these misaligned screens. How difficult is it to place the fingerprint scanner on the back panel of the screen. Battery is merely 3000 MAh whereas midrange or low end phones has battery ranging from 3500 - 4500 MAh. Long ago Sony had the most elegant and beautiful phones. Sadly Sony has reduced itself as a laughing stock.

awfull thing.....Why can´t you do it right liek the others Sony? Why do you desperatly need to do things wrong on purpose??
people are not interested in 21 ratio aspect, 19 is working for everyone just fine, even for Samsung.... That´s the thing that bugs me the most, these guys are always trying to reivent the weel , guess what sony, it has been invented ages ago!

Sony doesn't need success anymore, because the fact that they're still being talked about despite their low sales is a success to them already. I mean, which other brands could do it anyway??

Last time I gave a sh*t, Sony remains the only OEM in the world to offer true 4K HDR screens on smartphones.
Many people in the past said that Samsung will be the first to make a 4K HDR OLED smartphone, but here we have the Sony Xperia 1; the World's First 4K HDR 21:9 OLED smartphone.

Actually I like output in normal fov more than s10+, and thats not yet xperia1. xz2c was killing in low light, I guess that will be the biggest difference compared to mid range line.

As a photographer I can say Sony has upped their camera game a lot with this. They have corrected all the problems with my xz2, namely better red and yellow color rendition, less oversharpening, better noise reduction, and a lot better hdr mode. Pictures just look less artificial, which for me is the most sought after trait in smartphone cameras. Let's hope video is improved too. Xperia 1 I'm sure will be a beast of a camera phone, this is clearly indicative.
The only other thing they have to change/evolve is the camera app. I think I saw a video about a new camera app for the xperia1.
I only wish Sony could pass their software developments on to the previous generations also. Come on Sony, bring some of that goodness on my xz2, it's barely a year old.

Color improvement and super sharp 12mp. About 3% improvement(guess) in low light. If resolution is not the only thing you want, this is considered improvement.

You Xperia people need to stop being envious of the success of other brands. Xperia does not succeed because you so-called fans do not buy it. One vocal fan here uses Xiaomi, for example.

I already knew that this phone doesn't get good review on GSMarena, don't know why they do this, they always give 4 stars to the same galaxies and apple from years, this is too much

Can anybody tell me...Sony makes good mobile camera sensor but why still its own phone can’t take good photos ?
