The notch isn't there as a design language, so I don't see how you call it a CON. It's there to house the advanced cameras used for face unlock. Other manufacturers may not care about a secured face unlock and that's where the CON should be. Rather you reviewers hail the hole punch with an unsecured face unlock as a better design, as if design should trump security.

gsmarena test always show low numbers for lg phones, but they are pretty ok (at least for v30,g7)

Any particular reason why you have not published the 'sunlight contrast ratio' for LG G8 ?
I like this metric, pretty useful to differentiate screens.

gimm, 15 Apr 2019remove the notch to make yourself worthy again, LGI agree that's why I left LG to begin with and went with the Note 9. Now I'm hooked and cant see myself going back to LG.

Hi, the DAC on LG phones (like G7 and I suppose also G8) come to life with high impedance headphones (over 50 ohm). No extra output will be achieved with regular low impedance headphones, so the test on this review is not complete or fair.

Don't give me that pop up bull because if they do pop up just for the sake of an allscreen or Mi Mix Tri-bezelless design, your dream flagship will lose the ever coveted MIL-STD-810G and iP68. I wanted to buy an LG just for that military certification.

I am an aspiring audiophile so I think about wanting to get this solely for Audio.
