so im planning to buy a new phone and im considering samsung a50.currently, im still using my asus zenfone 5 ze551ml intel cpu it is more than 4yrs old.do you guys think a50 will also last as long as my zenfone5?

a50 wifi connectivity sucks....slow...short wifi range....dnt buy this if u use wifi...

I have the Samsung A70. Previously using the Vivo V5s. I can't help but notice that this mobile phone (A70) consumes lots of data! I already turned on the data saver, reviewed the background apps, etc. Still all the same. I am now getting frustrated with this device. Does anyone know how can I save more data with this device? Thank you in advance.

Davide0, 05 Aug 2019A50 or mi 9 se at the same price?Mi 9 SE if you want better chipset (cpu/gpu) and cameras. Also, if non-expandable storage and ads are no issue to you, go for it. Though, one of the things I don't like personally is how MIUI handles the notch.
A50 if expandable storage is a must and you want one of the best user experience (One UI). It also has a bigger battery. Camera performance has improved via updates. Gcam is also an option to further improve picture quality.
You can't go wrong with either of them. It's just up to your needs and taste.

For camera experience, this phone have many minus point.
- panorama mode very bad, you will see many pieces even your hand didn't get tremor.
- zoom photo even just 1x zoom, you will see that photo is like VGA Camera.
- normal photo and zoom it on your gallery and especially when you capture some text, you wont see it clearly when you zoom it on gallery.
- front camera will make your face become so bright, really bright.
Overall beside the camera, so far so good, no laggy when i play game, vidcall, browsing, and of course the biometric and fingerprint under display is best, work fast respond. Battery is enough for me to have full daily operation without any charge.

Regarding software updates, this depend on your local carrier in your country.
Doesn't help to complain here about it.
You should call or email your signal carrier about it.

I have purchsed this smartphone in the last month and have been used without any problem.
Good Camera Performance, Amazing Battery backup and what to say about display. Super AMOLED works like charms!
Overall very good phones. I dont like to play games on the smartphone. So i have not tested gaming performance till now. But great multi-task performance.

4000 mah battery, any who complain about battery time must be doing something wrong. Close all running apps! Bottom left corner symbol, click, see all apps windows running, close all. Increase battery time.

1 month owner A50 6/128. No overheating problem. No lag. Those who say battery time is poor, should look how many apps you have running all the time. My battery time last 1,5 day. Online web most of the day, some fb, some chat app. But, I remember to close them when I'm done.
Fingerprint is my only daily irritation, expect this to be fixed with next updates.
Need more battery? Cheaper and slower Samsung M20 has 5000 mah, and expect another M20 model coming with almost 6000mah.
