The Samsung Galaxy A70 raises the bar within the new A series - a completely reimagined lineup to lead a full-scale war in the midrange kingdom. And the rule of the Chinese makers is very much threatened, having already seen what the A40 and A50 are capable of.

    I wonder is there a samsung phone outside S-series that have video stabilization at 4k?
    And any phone under 500 dolar that have video stabilization at 4k beside pixel 1 and 2?

        No video stabilization even at 1080p? What the fudge samsung? This thing is more expensive than A50!!!!!

                going to buy A70 for ~300-310 EUR

                great screen, SD675, 4500 !!! battery
                dont care about making photos

                    Someone should fire the one who approved to put that shit of cameras, all of them in the models of the AXX series. Especially in the most expensive ones that even in nightmares should not be so bad.

                    I do not think that the new sensor of the A70s can work, for that they should add software of the S10 series and optical stabilization since its price will surely be higher than the current one and already in the territory of the S10e that has already lowered its price a lot. You can smell another fiasco.

                        "Then there is the Galaxy A80, which offers same the size of AMOLED but notch-free. The primary camera is on a motorized pop-up, which also rotates to serve as a selfie shooter. Another upgraded bit is the new Snapdragon 730 chipset, which should be offering flagship-grade performance. Those are some costly features though as the price hikes north of €600, and that's almost within flagship territory."

                        Where are the downsides to Galaxy A80 which is sacrificing 3.5mm jack and microsd slot as STANDARD?!

                        Let me improve the CONS below:
                        Cons
                        -No ingress protection
                        -Unimpressive low-light camera performance, no Night mode
                        -No electronic video stabilization
                        -No USB Type C to USB A adapter for connecting to older computers built before 2015 without USB Type C support. This is somewhat kind of planned obsolescence to "force" users to "upgrade" to new computers when their old ones are presumably working well. Also another way to "obsolete" third party chargers or other brands or former Samsung chargers which relied on the "older" but working fine as it is USB A port for backup.

                          "The A70 has been built around a 6.7" Super AMOLED screen with a dewdrop-shaped notch - same size as the behemoth screens on the Galaxy S10+ 5G and the Galaxy A80." Not same size, Samsung Galaxy S10 5G is 112.0 and this one is cm2, 108.4 cm2

                            "The Galaxy A70 is one of the biggest Galaxies we've seen so far", Biggest galaxy, yet no bigger than Mi Max 3 which around 122.9 cm2.

                              25 Watt through such a thin cable. thats the poor 2.1 A/ 12 V supply

Don't trust ... moreYes but in real life you can play PUBG at HDR with both a50 and a70 there is only a slight difference between them [except if you use GFX tool and set the graphics to MAX (open anti-aliasing, set resolution to 1440p etc) then there is difference]

                                      I presume the longer, yet weirder aspect ratio shows less black bars while playing 21:9 movies. Could've had stereo speakers though, what with the size and media-playing capabilties
