To me, the better option is S10+ and it has something standard which is enough for me.

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2019S10+ is 300$ more expensive but only has better cameras whi... more1. 1. OP7p DOES NOT have better display, OP7p has more practical display, in terms of the panel it self, and tech aspect of it, it cannot match S10 + not having noch does not make the display itself better it makes it more practical.

      2. No, where i live OP7p is 750 euros, S10 plus is 650, same goes for most of the EU

      3. No it is not, there is 1 (ONE) advantage of OP7p = speed, and NOTHING else.

The speakers blow OP7p out of the water
      Build quality is better
All cameras and video is better
      Better ergonomics OP7p is huge
      Better design
      More durable
      Ip rating
      SD slot
      Wireless charging
      Samsung pay
      Samsung Dex

Next time when you come with your bs argument, think again what you say.

But on other side, GSMarena is using standard benchmarks, and they are using same benchmarks for all devices,. So, even though you can't see, read or understand what that actually means to your usage, you can compare that with their review of device that you use, and see is it better or whatever.

90Hz (but which drains the battery faster), no notch, faster wired charging and a little faster usage experience are the advantages of the OP7 Pro. But they stop there. S10+ comes with better screen at all the other aspects, better cameras, IP68 rated (so you can claim), wireless charging, SD slot, 3.5mm jack, better battery, size is more appropriate for more people, less weight, no worry for a motor camera fail, WiFi AX, Gorilla Glass 6, 4K video for front camera. OP7 Pro costs 759 euro with 8GB RAM and 256GB memory in Germany, S10+ 128GB memory Prism Black is 737 euro and 512GB memory Ceramic is 990 euro on Amazon Germany but will go even more down.

If One Plus 7 Pro is a Genesis G70 then Samsung S10 plus is a BMW 5 series. That much difference is there between these two.
Samsung has a better brand value and better engineering over Chinese luxury OnePlus. Reliability is also like that only.
Samsung may be super expensive to replace or repair the display over OnePlus

Walter C. Dornez, 02 Jul 2019Oh, this is going to be a FUN comment section, hahaLet's see what we got here, arguments about their:
Prices - Plenty, saw that coming
OS - A little rare, huh
Cameras - Also plenty, lookin' good
                    Overall "superiority" - eh
SDs and jacks - Damned Note10 ain't letting me feel at ease to comment this

The perf arguments are getting a little outta hand tho. It's like they think the Exynos and Snapdragon are night an- no, Heaven and Ea- nah, how about... *Cue random research* Planck length and Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall. Sounds like an odd phobia of things with a Greek-esque name (Exynos)

If there was no punch hole, it would be an easy win for the S10+.

More complete package overall imo and you can find it at the same price as the 7 Pro at least in euro land.

It really comes down to if you want the full screen 90hz experience. I'd say if you like the punch hole go for the S10+.

When the S10+ beats, its a win, when the 7pro does, its a draw.
For example at the design they know most ppl would prefer not having a notch, instead of having a punch hole and yet, it is a draw...
I wonder how the S10+ managed to not lose on the UI and performance too.

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2019Negligible superiorority compared to the huge excess amt u ... moreWrong. And for all folks who are gaga on oneplus being cheaper is just not accurate.

S10+ is not very expensive in various markets.

Ex: 2499 AED for OP7+ and 2699 AED for S10+ in middle east. the difference translates to 55 USD among both.

whilst in Europe OP7+ is 749 euros vs 899 euros for S10+

again carrier discounts play a major role too for S10+. Lastly Samsung phones prices drop after 2-3 months of launch.

How is the OP7 Pro only 100€ less tho
The base model OP7 Pro is 699€ vs the 999€ on the samsung side.
The slight advantages the S10+ has are not worth the 300€ difference IMHO

                                    I prefer the op7 pro.

Like the minimalist skin. Very little bloatware.
And Oxygen OS ages well. My op3 is still blazing fast. Same can't be said of Samsung device.
