I can bet that the results from the battery tests are understood only by gsmarena employees. I have read the description several times and still don't get it. No phone can last 80 or 100 hours. On the other hand, your competitor Phonearena gives much more meaningful and close to real life numbers, such as 7, 8, 9, 10 hours and so on. Take this as a constructive feedback even if you delete my comment.

Not unless you live anywhere in the world.
OnePlus 7 Pro is cheaper than the S10+ only when comparing the RRP/MSRP. The actual sale price is different. OnePlus prices stay at the RRP or above it due to Grey Market, whereas Samsung prices always drop because there's lots of availability and discounts. In many places I can see the S10+ being cheaper than the 1+7Pro. Other places I see the S10e slightly cheaper than the 1+7Pro. Very few places I see the Samsung S10 devices being a lot more expensive than the 1+7Pro.
The S10+ is what you get if you want a "no compromise" phone, it's currently the best of the best in the Android side of things. If you want a device that gets best support, you get the Google Pixel 4. If you want the most durable device, you get the Kyocera DuraForce 2 Pro. If you want the best compact phone, you get the Samsung S10e. If you want the best gaming phone, you get the ASUS RoG Phone 2. If you want the most value, you either get the flagship ZTE Axon10 Pro, or the Upper-Midrange Nubia RedMagic 3, or the Mid-range Redmi Note 7.
There's very little going for the OnePlus 7 Pro as category defining, you could say it's best in performance, but it's a negligible difference at best and is already contested by the likes of the Snapdragon Samsung S10+, Nubia RedMagic 3, and the ASUS RoG Phone 2. So because of that reason, the market price makes very little sense at this time and in the future. Perhaps a OnePlus 7t-Pro will come out with the same price; but better durability, cameras, battery life, more storage, better screen, better speakers, and audio solution... but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Battery, SOC/RAM management, and hard drive space/expandable memory are the top 3 most important aspects in a phone. Camera shouldn't be that important.

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2019Yes but at least GSM Arena could recognize that Oneplus is ... moreDon't just jump to conclusions with your own opinions. I really love the Samsung software. I can't just tolerate clean and bare android. Even if I wanted that clean experience , I would rather go for either ios or pixel. I love always on display and what you can do with it, bixby has become a part of my life, i love the theme engine (reminds me of good nokia days).. I love the secure folder.. And there are many other things that make android, what it is. I know oneplus can do all these with third party apps, but it can never be as integrated as the software in samsung is. Google introduces minor things like multi window, and call it major software.. Guess what, Samsung had multi window since 2012 in galaxy s3..

s10+ vs 7 pro
s10+ pros
3.5mm jack
microsd
wifi ax
gorilla glass 6
camera
s10+ cons:
punch hole
software
chipset
price
7 pro pros:
price
software
chipset
screen
cons:
no 3.5mm
no sdcard
hard one hand use
gorilla glass 5
s10+ with snapdragon will be an inch better overall with heavy price increase but exynos version is a joke compared to 1+. I own 7 pro and i use it for gaming, internet and movies.
I imagine how frustrating it would be to see that annoying punchhole every time.

Oneplus is a wannabe! However if both are available at the same price, it's a no brainer which one to go for. You can't make your judgements just by watching YT vids or reading articles, you need to experience them both in hand and then form an opinion. Speed isn't everything, saving few milliseconds or seconds won't have much of a difference. S10+ is superior, and the guys that have used both will agree with me.

I'd take the OP any day. The Galaxy's double punchole is stupid, wireless charging is overrated, I prefer the OP's warp charge. As for the ingress protection, no water damage is covered by the warranty so at the end of the day it doesn't really matter if your phone has an official IP rating. And to those complaining about the lack of microSD: if 128/256 GB is not enough, you're simply lazy to save your stuff. Yes, the Galaxy won the camera battle but qualitywise the difference is marginable and the extra features it has I wouldn't use anyway. The only thing I wish the OP still had is the audio jack and the notification LED but then again, the Galaxy doesn't have the latter either. And no, I'm not a OP fanboy, I'm just conscious.
