OnePlus 7 Pro vs. Samsung Galaxy S10+

With 6.4" and 6.67" screens, they're both losers for me. I'd rather have a phone with half the features but I can use with one hand, easily store in my pocket and not look like a dork when I hold it next to my ear.

what is life, 02 Jul 2019some snapdragon has Sony sensor too seems like it's a mix **My $$$ vote goes to OnePlus. S10+ is a great phone, but the only clear advantage is the camera, which I use rarely. In all other terms OP is better for my case. 90 hz smooth screen with excellent SoC performance, larger size, and the main killer feature for me - no notch or screen hole!

You have 7 *different* smartphone-centered categories to compare these phones (like speed, display, software etc.) PLUS 5 more camera categories, as if the camera is 42% (5/12) as important as everything else. WHO THE hell uses their smartphone as a primary camera if the camera is important to them?
GSM staff. Please get with the modern times. Most cameras are good enough. It's not the centerpiece of a smartphone.
If I remember correctly, the most requested feature in a smartphone is longer battery life. Not the best camera.

About time GSM Arena puts Audio Quality on separate page.
The POOR REVIEW about AUDIO needs to be resolved (barely exist on bottom of page 3!)

Now, compare it to the Camera reviews...
It used up not 1 or 2 pages, but 5 PAGES in total!(Page 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 ) this is serious discrimination towards AUDIO and ridiculous and needs to CHANGE.

Wake up GSM Arena, and listen to input!
Don't stay on status quo 'Review Styles', OR your site will be going down before you know it

100 euro different will not be a point breaker, so Samsung Galaxy S10+ is the clear winner with much lighter weight, much thinner thickness, much brightness screen and better cameras in still and video.

Anonymous, 02 Jul 2019S10 plus has root access even Exyons variant has root acces... moreThe USA/Chinese versions come with the Sony Exmor cameras and the Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.

The SONY camera is even better (slightly). But the processors also have better performance, battery life, and security. The only downside is the QSD version doesn't have an unlockable bootloader, so there's no root access and no Custom TWRP, Magisk, Kernel, ROMs, MODs.

And even if it had that, or you were contempt with the inferior Exynos/International version.... there is a physical chip (KNOX) that gets tripped and it voids your warranty and stops you from using Samsung Pay and other services (Netflix HD, Banking, etc etc). The Samsung Note10 isn't going to change in this aspect, and looks to be a worse phone with the removal of the Headphone Jack. On the LG G8/V50 side it's now impossible because LG has removed the official unlocking tool off their website.

For those reasons, the OnePlus 7 Pro is the more suitable choice for root access, until we get the Pixel 4 and maybe competition from Razer Phone 3 or ASUS RoG Phone 2.

The new and improved Night Mode from May really helps the S10+ in gaining back at the competition

if its the release firmware the 1+ would've destroyed it in the low light night mode comparison

S10 plus overall better phone and that’s not cause of S10 plus has SD card or headphone jack don’t care about all these features I care only about build quality, better bright screen and better speakers including IP 68 and last not least better camera that’s where S10 plus win.

Here is my opinion, OP7Pro only good at Performance since it's equip with High End chipset, but every "premium" features OP7Pro choose to discard it, also the price was very high. OP7Pro can't be named "Flagship Killer" anymore. so as cust my opinion about OP7Pro is just same like other "low-class" flagship and can't be juxtaposed with "high-class flagship" eg; Samsung. so Samsung for me, still the best.

I said it before, but people didn't (want to) believe me: The Samsung S10+ is overall the better phone.

It has a better camera all-round, it has a better battery life (standby performance is great), and it offers a big screen experience but in a much more compact profile. The screen lacks 90Hz but is slightly better, the software is currently better, and the Left holepunch means better durability/less mechanical anxiety. On top of that you get proper warranty, support and accessories. Plus the huge benefits of the IP68, microSD, and Headphone Jack.

I would say the OnePlus 7 Pro has going for it, the faster performance, root access, and after 2 years time it will have the better software available... that is, if the slippery smudge-magnet manages to survive that long with its fragile camera and glass construction.

Too bad we're losing LG, with its restricted rollout (budget concerns) of the G8 and the V50, so we have less competition in the field. That goes for the crazy cheap but rare ZTE Axon10 Pro as well, and to a lesser extent the Sony Xperia 1. Huawei flagships have too many compromises for me. Here's hoping for the 2019 ASUS ROG Phone 2 !!!!

Second consecutive win for the S10+. Next!

no contest. Oneplus is good but overall galaxy wins. And connectivity is way superiori on samsung. Onepluses always very limited in this
