Hamad, 03 Jul 2019One of the best compact phones I used in 2019, great perfor... moreIn what fantasy world is 6" considered compact? Don't kid yourself, this is still an enormous phone. Unless you meant a compact phablet/tablet.

I have this phone, battery life are actually surprising for its small size. The camera interface is now exactly the same as the Mi 9T after the 10.3.1 Global update with the 48mp option now showing below. While 1080 60fps was promised to be released on a future update as what they stated on a foot note on the official specification page on their product site, I just wonder why they can't implement the 60fps frame rate on launch like the Mi 9 and 9T becuase it is functional with the ported GCam.

Xiaomi need to make a compact, 5" or less. The Mi2S was the perfect phone.

            A 3000mAh battery and a power-hungry Snapdragon 660 is a recipe for disaster.

hi GSMArena team, I would like to point out that the Pixels do have an ultrawide shooting mode, unlike what is claimed in the alternatives section of this review. it is under photo sphere in the camera app, and out of the 5 options on the top of the screen in photo sphere mode the ultrawide mode is the second from the right. you also have an option for fisheye effect, which is the first from the right, and can give an even wider field of view, though with much greater distortion as well.

                      6/64 Mi 9 se - $286
                      6/128 Mi 9 se - $312
                      6/64 Mi 9T - $333

The price is a bit mess for this. Just for a tiny bit more you can get 9T with bigger battery and faster processor in my country. :/

The m9 Se can actually record 1080p at 30, 60, 120. It also can record video with all 3 lenses.

The thing I hate the most is the notification system hurdles, but oh well. I have yet to find any ads (people say miui has ads, but I haven't found any). My favorite thing about this phone is rear camera performance.

But within the group of OLEDs and within the group of LCDs, these days it's safe to assume that it's the max brightness which matters for ranking the outdoor visibility.

I still think that it would useful to know whether the visibility of 400 nits OLED screen is going to be better than that of a 500 nits IPS screen, but it is good to know that visibility is totally related to brightness and that panel coatings or other finishing details do not matter any more.
