Lenovo just sent an OTA update of the Chinese/English ZUI ROM for the Z6 Pro to Version 11.5.381 ST. This has an Android 10 security update and some minor feature fixes and enhancements, including improved support for high speed memory cards.

I bought the Lenovo Z6 back in December. Not the pro and not the lite just Z6. Anyways I fell in love with the phone. Extremely affordable, looked awesome and for the specs you really can't go wrong. Everything was perfect EXCEPT that I could not use snapchat or it nor Pokemon go. The only reason why I upgraded from my HTC Desire 10 Pro is because those are the apps I use the most. I contacted snapchat and they gave me the run around. Pokemon did the same thing and contacted Lenovo support. No one could figure out the issue. I'm in the US and used cricket as my carrier. Since those were the only real apps I used to use on a daily basis I had to sell my phone but the thing is that I really can't find a find with those specs for under $300 USD. I would like to know if people's experiences of using a Lenovo phone in the US. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if those bugs were worked out

Diogo, 11 Mar 2020lie the equipment in the global version has not received an... moreHmmm. I am running ZUI Version 11.5.229 and that shows as being Android 10. Has been on Android 10 for quite a while, last year for sure. I get stable updates pushed to my phone OTA and I know you can get early release candidates from Lenovo as well by signing up for them. Have you tried updating your phone manually in settings? Or contacting Lenovo tech support?

What more do you want?

Anonymous, 02 Jan 2020Hi are you still using your z6 pro and are there any long t... moreYes. There is a bug in the selfie camera. It gets stuck most of the time.

The cameras are not the best and the software is much worse than the rest in the market.

I am happy only because it was quite cheap but I will definitely change it after one year's use.

None of the other vendors on JD have worldwide shipping last I checked. Google Translate to read comments and descriptions. JD is like Amazon in China.

Anonymous, 16 Jan 2020Thank you again for your reply. So the global version there... moreI would avoid the "global" ROM unless you are comfortable flashing that model to the OEM Chinese/English version. Seems like most of the problems people face are with the global and not the Chinese/English version. A number of resellers are flashing their own hacked/customized "global" and that means you are relying on the reseller "expertise" rather than Lenovo tech. A lot of electronic devices get that "treatment" when the stock versions are already optimized. The Z6 Pro is primarily a China market phone and most of the effort the company is making is toward there.

I have the chance to buy one but it would be the global version . And for this version there are mixed reviews ... It sure looks like a great device and I'm willing to change for my one plus 5tbfor a change .
But I like stability and that's the only reason that is making me thinking twice before changing it. I can't find much info on xda....

Does the global version has th... moreThe OEM Chinese/English ZUI ROM gets OTA updates pushed regularly to the phone, don't know if a global ROM would also get that fast and easy updating. I just had another usability update bringing the ZUI version to 11.5.222 ST. Looks like the company is enhancing the Lenovo 1 feature set for using the phone as a multiple device controller as well as addressing user bug/usability reports. If you are interested in custom ROMs I saw on XDA-developers that someone just made the first one for the Z6 Pro. Definitely a work in progress but following those technical discussions can be interesting.

Anonymous, 02 Jan 2020Hi are you still using your z6 pro and are there any long t... moreVery happy with the Lenovo Z6 Pro and can easily recommend it after over four months of use. It is stable (I hate phones that are buggy) and snappy! Lenovo has been updating the Android/ZUI OS on the phone regularly with new features and security releases and my phone has been running Android 10 since early December. The ZUI OS overlay is actually useful and a worthwhile enhancement to stock Android. Pleasantly surprised at the phone's photo and video capabilities - with the updates, all of the cameras now use EIS and the 2.0MP one has OIS as well. My night scene photos are particularly impressive. The OEM Chinese/English ROM is the one to get even if you are buying outside of China, that is the one I have on my phone. No device is perfect but I paid $280 for this phone with a Snapdragon 855, AMOLED screen, headphone jack, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage that can be expanded. The Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, Samsung, One+ and Google phones I compared this Z6 Pro to cost 10 - 200 percent more but why pay that premium?
