Anonymous, 04 Sep 2019Build quality is sub par. You get what you pay for.Honestly, I like the design, it's a nice glass build with cool color gradients in it's glacier blue and flame red versions, with the normal color looking modern and professional.
The pop-up camera seems durable enough and the led lights, and customizable sounds (things you don't get on midrangers that cost $600, looking at Sammy) make it seem like a better experience, it keeps the bezels minimal without the curving the display, therefore not compromizing the screen, has hdr10 built in, good cameras and camera software, the speakers are ok, despite being mono, and everything about it is great, and you only pay about $100 more than the fabrication for the international version (which supports most mobile bands) and has no ads, while the China version costs the same price as the manufacturing cost, has less bands, and some ads in the in-built apps. Honestly this is a great offer, and you get more for the price wthan you would've gotten with some other flagships

I love my Poco F1 but wanting (not needing) this new one. Can get the 8/256 so very fine. Also Global version but need to know if this will work with USA phones eg. Verizon?

I've had redmi k20 Pro sice 2md of July and I couldn't be more satisfied.
Fast phone, 256gb storage, great bezeless screen, quick charge is amazing, has a headphone jack, it takes amazing pictures... It's just an option that can't be beaten (for a casual phone user). It's so fast as well, MIUI is a great platform, easier to control then stock Android.
I could be more satisfied only if it had IR blaster and wireless charging.

If you experienced issued after update with any device, factory reset should fix it.

So you get more, for about 2/3 the price of a Honor 20 pro. Honor 20 pro seems like a bad deal in comparison. Paying 50% more for not really anything better.
Trade war insecutiry doesn't help the Huawei device, and I see the upcoming Mate 30 won't come with google play or any other google apps. So will the Honor 20 get any android OS updates? I wouldn't be to sure.

Actually I wanted to buy the z6 but you literally had to wait 3 months to be able to get your hands on one here in Europe. Also, Asus' screen sucks. poor visability outside and not a good enough ips panel for $500.
Asus also big, thick and heavy so ergonomics also not ideal.
software is a personal choice and prices depend on region aswell.
