Shots are not perfect but output is clearly with detail above the rest and I mean 16mp default output, not any special 6 second long shot. Shame for optics, it could take on others after few months, now its just unique for now.

After all this is a budget midrange smartphone and OPPO is not capable of designing quality lens which is just as good as those used by Google, Apple or Huawei.

Fake high ISOs from Realme. ISO 2400 for the studio shot indeed, when Xperia 1 manages ISO 200 for the same shot.

I think 48mpx cameras from realme/xiaomi with sony sensor still outputs equal quality images (or ever better in some areas) overall

Close to perfect phone in my opinion. Just need telephoto camera, stock or close to stock android, and metal frame for added toughness for me. Love triple slots and earphone jack here.

Having a large sensor without OIS should be actually worse than a smaller sensor with OIS, unless you take photos of moving objects or use a tripod. Even the OIS of the P30 Pro seems to be so bad that the OIS isn't really better than no OIS.

It would be interesting whether the 64 megapixel crop can compete with Apple's 52mm camera. But I don't think so as Quad Bayer sensors don't have as many details as Bayer sensors and produce demosaicing artifacts.

Not sure why but studio samples are way better than real world test shots. Maybe not enough of sunlight?
