Love the Community, 18 Sep 2019Isn't oversharpen = closer to reality? That's what Samsu... moreSo are Samsung photos plasticky or oversharpened? They work in opposite ways, don't you know? Samsung's so-called aggressive noise reduction removes the "details" that you Sony fans think Xperia phones provide. But doesn't Samsung's so-called oversharpening make noise more obvious? And you guys claim Samsung's photos are too smooth and noiseless?

Don't know about Huawei but Samsung is definitely not sharpening. I don't see any oversharpening haloes in most of their models based on the reviews here but Sony's phones consistently produce such haloes.

    That's absolutely pitiful. Supplying headphones with a phone that will always require an adaptor
    It just shows Sony haven't removed the jack because they think it's a good idea, they've done it because they think it's cool

        The ideal for me would be body of xperia 5 but with 4K screen and centered camera.

          This is a decent phone indeed, but i just don't think it's fair to call it a compact phone. It's certainly not a successor to the Sony Compact series.

          XZ2 Compact: 135 x 65 x 12.1 mm
          Xperia 5: 158 x 68 x 8.2 mm

                Just pre-ordered one through clove uk, will be getting Wf-1000x3 true earbuds. Residing outside UK. So have to order it by a friend.

                      That's what Samsung and Huawei are doing to their phones and we're all okay with the oversharpening.
